آج تیسرے روز بھی بلوچ یکجہتی کمیٹی کے رہنماؤں کا ہدہ جیل کے اندر فیس لیس ٹرائل کے خلاف دھرنا جاری ہے۔ یہ فیس لیس ٹرائل غیر آئینی اور غیر قانونی ہیں اور شفاف انصاف کے بنیادی اصولوں کے منافی ہیں۔
اسی تناظر میں آج انتظامیہ کی جانب سے جیل کے اندر سخت پابندیاں نافذ کر دی گئی تھی۔ کسی بھی فرد کو جیل کے اندر جانے کی اجازت نہیں دی جا رہی، رہنماؤں کے لواحقین اور وکلاء گھنٹوں انتظار کرنے کے باوجود ملاقات نہیں کر سکے۔ اس صورتحال میں یہ خدشہ موجود ہے کہ ریاستی اداروں کی جانب سے بی وائی سی کے جبری قید رہنماؤں پر دباؤ ڈالنے یا انہیں ہراساں کرنے کی کوشش کی جا سکتی ہے۔
بی وائی سی اس صورتحال پر گہری تشویش کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے مطالبہ کرتی ہے کہ سیاسی قیدیوں کے قانونی اور انسانی حقوق کا احترام کیا جائے،جیل کے اندر جاری تمام غیر قانونی اقدامات کو ختم کیا جائے اور تنظیم کے رہنماؤں کے مقدمے میں فیس لیس ٹرائل کا فوری طور پر خاتمہ کر کے اوپن کورٹ ٹرائل کا حق دیا جائے۔

| 2 |  A fundamental cornerstone of any democratic legal system is the right to a public trial. This right exists to protect the accused from arbitrary state power and to assure the public that the law is being applied fairly. Unfortunately, the ongoing legal proceedings for the leaders of Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC), who have been detained for over 14 months, are straying further from this standard.
By first shifting trials to jail premises and now transitioning them to faceless trails, public and media access has been effectively severed. This opacity erodes public confidence in the judicial process. We must collectively remind our legal institutions that transparency is not a bureaucratic favor, it is a constitutional mandate.
Join us in calling on the judiciary to uphold international human rights standards by returning these cases to an open court.

اختلافِ رائے کو جرم قرار دینا اور سیاسی جدوجہد کو مقدمات کی نذر کرنا اس امر کی نشاندہی کرتا ہے کہ ریاست تنقیدی آوازوں کا جواب مکالمے، سیاسی عمل اور جمہوری ذرائع سے دینے کے بجائے قانونی جبر اور عدالتی ہتھکنڈوں کے ذریعے دینا چاہتی ہے۔
بلوچ یکجہتی کمیٹی کے رہنماؤں کے ساتھ روا رکھا جانے والا طرزِ عمل ایک تشویشناک حقیقت کو بے نقاب کرتا ہے، جہاں قانونی اور عدالتی طریقۂ کار کو بار بار تبدیل کرکے شفافیت، جوابدہی اور بنیادی حقوق کو محدود کرنے کی کوشش کی جا رہی ہے۔ انتظامی حراست، متعدد مقدمات کا اندراج، مسلسل جسمانی ریمانڈ، جیل ٹرائل اور اب فیس لیس ٹرائل جیسے اقدامات اس تاثر کو مزید تقویت دیتے ہیں کہ قانون کو انصاف کی فراہمی کے بجائے سیاسی اختلافِ رائے کو دبانے کے لیے استعمال کیا جا رہا ہے۔

پرامن سیاسی کارکنوں کے خلاف ریاستی طاقت اور قانونی ہتھکنڈوں کا استعمال کوئی نئی بات نہیں۔ تاہم تاریخ گواہ ہے کہ جبر، قید، مقدمات اور پابندیاں عوامی شعور اور سیاسی نظریات کو ختم نہیں کر سکتیں۔ آوازوں کو دبایا جا سکتا ہے، مگر حق، انصاف اور سیاسی حقوق کے مطالبات کو ہمیشہ کے لیے خاموش نہیں کیا جا سکتا۔
آج ضرورت اس امر کی ہے کہ تمام سیاسی کارکنوں اور قیدیوں کو آئین اور قانون کے مطابق منصفانہ ٹرائل کا حق دیا جائے، مقدمات کو کھلی عدالتوں میں منتقل کیا جائے، عدالتی شفافیت کو یقینی بنایا جائے، اور قانون کو سیاسی انتقام یا اختلافی آوازوں کو دبانے کے ہتھیار کے طور پر استعمال کرنے کا سلسلہ بند کیا جائے۔

| 9 | Democracy is based on respect for different opinions, protection of fundamental rights, and the fair and transparent application of the law. When legal processes involving political activists or dissenting voices are conducted in ways that limit transparency and public scrutiny, confidence in the justice system is weakened. In this context, the decision to convert the trials of BYC leaders into faceless proceedings has raised serious concerns regarding openness, accountability, and the right to a fair hearing. Fair trial principles require that judicial proceedings not only be impartial but also be seen to be impartial. A strong state deals with disagreement through democratic and constitutional means, not through force, and ensures equal rights and fair treatment for everyone under the law.

- End online and jail-based trials and restore open courtroom hearings so that court proceedings are conducted in a transparent manner and remain accessible to the public.
- Replace the Presiding Judge and appoint a new, impartial judge to hear this case, as the current judge, Mobeen, has shown state bias from the outset of the proceedings. The application filed by the detained BYC leaders seeking a change of judge must be heard immediately, and a new judge should be assigned without delay.
- Stay all judicial proceedings related to this case until a new judge is appointed and open courtroom hearings are restored, ensuring that the trial is conducted fairly, transparently, and in accordance with the principles of justice.

𝙅𝙪𝙣𝙚 12, 2026 — 𝙎𝙞𝙗𝙞, 𝘽𝙖𝙡𝙤𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣:
Abdul Razzaq Baloch, son of Abdul Ghani and a resident of Marri Abad, Mach, Bolan, was forcibly disappeared on 1 January 2026 after being taken into custody from Abdul Ghaffar Qalandrani Petrol Pump in Marri Abad, Mach. His family remained unaware of his whereabouts for more than five months and received no information about his condition.
On 12 June 2026, Abdul Razzaq's body was identified among those killed in a CTD operation in Sibi. His death was presented as the result of an armed encounter. This is not an isolated case; several individuals who were previously subjected to enforced disappearance have later been found among those killed in fake encounters, raising serious concerns about extrajudicial killings and the denial of due process.
Abdul Razzaq's case is another addition to the growing list of individuals who were taken into custody without legal process, disappeared for months, and later killed in fake encounters. His family, like many others in Balochistan, continues to seek truth and justice.
Enforced disappearances, extrajudicial killings, and fake encounters remain among the most pressing human rights concerns in Balochistan. Countless families continue to search for their loved ones, while many remain unaware of the fate and whereabouts of those who have been taken. Abdul Razzaq Baloch's case forms part of a broader pattern that demands attention and justice.

Day 1: The Rule of Lies in the Name of Law
Narratives, Criminalization, and the Manipulation of Justice
This session will examine how legal and political narratives are constructed to justify the suppression of dissent and political organizations. It will explore concerns surrounding the use of legal processes, allegations, and public discourse to criminalize activists and political activists. The discussion will assess the relationship between law, power, and accountability, and consider how misinformation, selective enforcement, and politicized legal actions can undermine public trust in institutions and weaken the principles of justice and due process.
Day 2: Why Does the State Fear BYC?
Dissent, Mobilization, and the Politics of Suppression
This session will explore the growing influence of the Baloch Yakjehti Committee and the state's response to its political and social mobilization. It will examine broader questions concerning dissent, democratic participation, and the limits of political expression. The discussion will analyze why grassroots movements often face heightened scrutiny and restrictions, and what this reveals about the relationship between citizens, political movements, and state authority. Participants will also consider the implications of such responses for democratic governance, civil liberties, and human rights.
Day 3: The Politics of Identity and the Fight for Existence
Representation, Marginalization, and Collective Resistance
This session will examine the role of identity in shaping political struggles and demands for rights, recognition, and justice. It will explore how questions of ethnicity, culture, history, and belonging intersect with broader issues of exclusion, representation, and state policy. The discussion will focus on the experiences of marginalized nations and communities and the ways in which collective organizing, advocacy, and resistance emerge in response to political and social challenges.
This series will bring together legal experts, activists, academics, and political voices to discuss the challenges facing justice, democratic freedoms, and human rights, while exploring pathways toward accountability, transparency, and meaningful political participation.
