When the rebels attacked her village, she took refuge in the Church with many Catholics and 2 Jesuit priests: St. Leon-Ignace Mangin and St. Paul Denn. When the rebels broke into the Church, they intended to shoot Fr. Mangin. She stood up, and with her outstretched arms, tried to protect the priest. She was shot to death. | 398 |
