Who's right in the "SSPX dispute," really? The fact is that the Church almost allowed SSPX to reenter itself in full communion under Pope Benedict XVI, but did not following an ultimatum from the State of Israel. SSPX has continued to operate obediently since Pope Benedict XVI, but after nearly 20 years of "de facto" communion has reached a state of existential crisis as its last surviving bishops pass away, rendering the seminary society unable to ordain any further priests unless a new bishop can be consecrated. Pope Leo XIV is aware that he is unable to allow official communion with the SSPX despite their obedience to the Church. This is why, during his monologue to SSPX, he clarified that Communicatio in sacris would remain available for schismatics who conduct unauthorized consecrations of bishops during the state of schism: Read between the lines. Pope Leo XIV has secretly approved the consecrations. SSPX remains Catholic. The entire dispute is theater.

2	JUNE 30: HE CHEERED WHEN SENTENCED TO DEATH Blessed Philip Powell Priest and Martyr Died: 1646 --- He was a Welsh Benedictine priest and martyr. He was a practicing lawyer before entering the monastery. He was arrested during the anti-Catholic persecution wrought by Anglicans. 9	JUNE 30: UKRAINIAN EPARCH EXILED IN CANADA Blessed Vasyl Vsevolod Velychkovskyi Eparch (Bishop) and Martyr Died: 1973 --- He was a Ukrainian Redemptorist martyr and eparch of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church (full communion with Rome). While an abbot, he was imprisoned for 10 years by the communists. He became an eparch 8 years after his release. He was imprisoned again for 3 years. He was deported to Canada. The physical abuse he received in prison affected his health which led to his death a year later.	347
10	THE INVERTED CROSS --- On March 24, 2000, then Pope St. John Paul II presided over the Mass for the Youth on the Mount of the Beatitudes in Israel. His presidential chair created quite a stir because it had the design of an inverted cross on its backrest. Immediately, non-Catholics saw this as a “symbol of the antichrist.” However, they did not understand what it really meant. The design was made specifically for John Paul II, and at that time, he was the current successor of St. Peter. Since the early days of the Church, it has been believed that St. Peter was martyred by being crucified upside-down. Hence, the inverted cross on the chair actually symbolized St. Peter.	329

He was a mathematician, musician, and logician. After having some series of visions, he resolved to change his worldly life. 13	JUNE 29: THE PRINCE OF THE APOSTLES Saint Kephas Apostle, Pope, and Martyr Died: Year 64 --- He is more popularly known as Saint Peter. He is considered as the leader of the Twelve which earned him the title "Prince of the Apostles." He received from Jesus the "keys of heaven" which symbolize his authority and responsibility over the Church. He also performed many miracles. Tradition states that he was crucified upside-down in Rome during the persecution of Emperor Nero.	339
