Question (520): Is a person's statement, "All religions are one and all lead to Allah," considered kufr? Answer (520): Whoever considers disbelief to be faith and falsehood to be truth becomes a disbeliever. Allama Sheikh Nidal al-Hanafi

Question (519): Is it considered that the majority of jinn are among the wicked and are the most untruthful creations? Answer (519): Just like humans, among the jinn there are disbelievers, fasiqun, followers of bidah, and the righteous. Allama Sheikh Nidal al-Hanafi

Question (518): Is it permissible to put candles on a birthday cake? Answer (518): It is not permissible. Allama Sheikh Nidal al-Hanafi

Question (517): Sometimes laymen say, "Allah loves me." These words can be related to both worldly and religious blessings. What is the ruling regarding such words? Answer (517): It is not permissible to say this, because it pertains to the unseen (unveiled knowledge). The granting of worldly blessings is not a sign of Allah's love, for Allah grants the worldly life both to those He loves and to those He does not love. However, He grants religion only to those He loves. Allama Sheikh Nidal al-Hanafi

Question (516): A person wants to build a venue to rent out exclusively for women's wedding celebrations. What is the ruling regarding the income from this business? Answer (516): At the very least, this income is doubtful, since most weddings are not free from sins, music, and similar things. Allama Sheikh Nidal al-Hanafi

Question (515): Dear Sheikh, if words of kufr (may Allah protect us) annul the marriage contract, then why is it that afterwards, while the woman is in her iddah period, a talaq given by the man is still considered valid? Answer (515): Because in a certain aspect, the man is still considered her husband. This aspect is that the woman is obligated to observe the iddah period. Consequently, until the iddah ends, the woman is not permitted to marry another man. Allama Sheikh Nidal al-Hanafi

Question (514): We, as women, find it difficult to accept that our husbands can marry two, three, or four wives. What do you advise us on this matter? Answer (514): Allah Almighty has permitted a man to marry up to four women, provided there is justice. Therefore, a believing woman must accept this, as it is permitted by Allah. Allama Sheikh Nidal al-Hanafi

Question (513): My husband (may Allah protect him) fell into kufr and then gave me talaq twice. I know that because of his falling into kufr, our marriage was dissolved. Now, if he accepts Islam again, will those two talaqs be counted? And if he gives one more talaq, will it be considered the third? Answer (513): If (God forbid) the husband fell into kufr and gave you talaq after the expiration of three menstrual cycles (iddah), then such a talaq is invalid, because you are no longer his wife. But if he gave you talaq before the completion of the iddah, then those two talaqs are considered valid. In that case, if he repents, correctly accepts Islam, and your marriage contract is concluded anew, he will only have one right to talaq left. Allama Sheikh Nidal al-Hanafi

Question (512): If, during the conclusion of the marriage contract, the woman's representative mistakenly says the name of her sister instead of her name, what is the ruling on such a marriage? Answer (512): If the contract was concluded by the guardian (wali), then the marriage is considered valid with the one whose name was pronounced (that is, with the named sister). Allama Sheikh Nidal al-Hanafi
149
10
Question (511): If, after the marriage contract is concluded, it is revealed that the man holds a belief that constitutes kufr, what should the woman do in such a case? Answer (511): Such a marriage is considered invalid. Allama Sheikh Nidal al-Hanafi

Question (510): The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever spits in the direction of the qiblah will be brought back on the Day of Resurrection with his spit between his eyes." Does this apply both during prayer and outside of prayer? And if a person is in the mosque, how can he spit to his left? Answer (510): Outside of prayer, and during prayer if he is not in the mosque, he spits under his left foot. While in the mosque, however, he does not spit. Allama Sheikh Nidal al-Hanafi

It is makruh for a man to call his father by his name, and for a woman to call her husband by his name.

Question (508): Is it a sin to memorize a surah or an ayah from the Quran and then forget it? Answer (508): If a person forgets how to read the memorized verses from the Mushaf, they commit a sin. However, simply forgetting them by heart does not make them a sinner. Nevertheless, to avoid disagreement, the most cautious approach is to constantly review what has been memorized. Allama Sheikh Nidal al-Hanafi

Answer (507): If, by saying to his wife, "I have entrusted this matter to you," the husband intended to delegate the right of divorce to her, then the divorce is valid. Allama Sheikh Nidal al-Hanafi
