Answer (264): According to the Hanafi madhhab, an apostate does not hold ownership (tamlik) or disposal rights (over property). Nevertheless, referring to the opinions of other madhhabs, it is permissible for Ahl al-Sunnah and the mujassimah sect to act jointly on matters that serve the higher interests of the Islamic ummah. However, a crucial point must be given special attention here: this temporary alliance must not strengthen the mujassimah sect's standing in society, nor elevate their honor.

| 19 | Question (247): Esteemed Sheikh, you noted that according to the Hanafi madhhab, if a person without the nisab amount (poor) slaughters a qurban, this act then takes on the ruling of a vow (nazr) sacrifice, and it is not permissible for him to eat from the meat of that sacrifice. It is known that there are opposing opinions on this, both in other madhhabs and within our own madhhab, namely that this person may eat from the meat. We also know that the opinion you mentioned is the mu'tamad (authoritative) one in the madhhab. However, in our region, those who slaughter a qurban are often poor, and they themselves also use the meat of the sacrifice they slaughter. In this case, is it permissible for brothers in need to follow the other opinion?
Answer (247): As we mentioned, the mu'tamad opinion in the Hanafi madhhab is that since the qurban slaughtered by a person in need holds the status of a nazr (vow), he should not eat from that meat. This is also what is correct from the standpoint of caution. However, if serious necessity and need arise, there is no objection to acting upon the differing opinions.

Answer (246): Sincerity (ikhlas), abandoning the ornaments of this world, a pure and sharp mind, and then memorizing texts under the guidance of a scholar who possesses taqwa, deep knowledge, is a faqih, a mutakallim, and skilled in all the sciences. Those who attain salvation with the success granted by Allah the Almighty attain it precisely through this path.
