Question (125): Is it permissible to shop at stores where alcoholic drinks and cigarettes are sold?
Answer (125): The main criterion in this matter is the majority factor. If the majority of the products sold in the store are haram, it is not permissible to buy anything from that shop. However, if the haram products sold constitute a minority, then shopping at that store, while considered makruh, is permissible.
