Answer (135): Yes, talaq (divorce) given via phone is considered valid. In this case, each of the three talaqs is considered to have occurred.

Answer (133): Using this expression is considered speaking kindly. As Allah the Almighty says in the Quran: "And speak to people good [words]" (al-Baqarah, 83). Also, saying this is making a supplication of blessing for one's brother in faith, which is among the acts approved (required) by Sharia. There is good in this phrase, and there is nothing in it contrary (opposed) to Sharia.

For this reason, it is more advisable to stay away from such symbols. However, there is no religious obstacle to a man buying flowers for his wife in the ordinary way, expressing his love for her through this means.
