๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธBiden blames exhaustion after global travel for poor debate US President Joe Biden on Tuesday said relentless international travel was to blame for his disastrous debate performance last week, adding โ€œitโ€™s not an excuse, but an explanation.โ€ Biden said he โ€œwasnโ€™t very smartโ€ for โ€œtraveling around the world a couple timesโ€ฆ shortly before the debate. โ€œI didnโ€™t listen to my staffโ€ฆ and then I almost fell asleep on stageโ€. ๐Ÿ”ด@DDgeopolitics

๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง "Your Prime Minister hindered the conclusion of an agreement between Russia and Ukraine": Nebenzya stated that the United Kingdom has no right to lecture Security Council members on adherence to international law. At a United Nations Security Council meeting dedicated to the situation in the Gaza Strip, the UK's Permanent Representative to the UN, Barbara Woodward, instead of offering the traditional greeting and support for the new Security Council president, claimed that Russia is violating the provisions of the UN Charter in the context of the conflict in Ukraine. In response, Russia's Permanent Representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, declared that "the UK should not be teaching and lecturing states, including permanent members of the Security Council, about adherence to international law." He added that the UK and Western countries have "long distanced themselves" from international law. "The country that ignited, the country that fueled the conflict when it should have been stopped in April 2022, and it was your Prime Minister who hindered the conclusion of an agreement between Russia and Ukraine," Nebenzya noted. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡ญ๐Ÿ‡บ The U.S. State Department responded to Orbรกn's proposal for a ceasefire in Ukraine. Deputy Spokesperson Vedant Patel stated that any country with influence should promote the complete withdrawal of Russian troops from Ukraine. "We (the U.S.) and NATO have clearly stated that there is really only one solution here: the Russian Federation simply needs to leave Ukraine," Patel said. ๐Ÿป That's a lot of words from Patel, just to say "to the last Ukrainian." ๐Ÿ”ด @DDGeopolitics
