Araghchi added that Iran will not hesitate to defend its national security against any hostile action.
"Any party that participates in any way in a military attack against Iran must accept responsibility for the consequences," he said.

| 12 | After a fairly long period of solely striking Russian oil refineries, Ukraine has switched to exclusively striking Wildberries.
The reason Ukraine switched to striking Wildberries is not because it sells drones and drone parts, or body armor, but because burning oil refineries didn't impact the civilian population enough.
Sure, it burned great on videos, and it caused some temporary inconvenience of having to stand in lines to fill up your car, but it didn't impact civilian population enough.
It's not even for economic reasons that Ukraine is striking Wildberries, not in a sense that it would impact the war machine in any way. Losing these warehouses doesn't affect the state budget in any meaningful way. Neither wildberries logistics is used for military, nor does the military buy drones on the marketplace.
What it's doing however, is impacting small businesses. A major portion of shopping in Russia is done online. The sole reason for striking Wildberries, and it has been admitted by Magyar and Mikhuilo Podolyak, is to cause harm to the civilian population, which, by definition, is terrorism.
Western "experts" will tell you it's to cause the social unrest enough, so that Russians revolt against the "Putin's evil regime." But in reality it's having an opposite effect and people are starting to question why we have been acting so merciful to our enemy.
Unlike those Western "experts" and despite Zelensky comically holding charts of Putin's approval ratings for a photo op, his regime knows this too.
The sole purpose of these strikes on Wildberries is just to harm the civilian population, and nothing else.
Ukraine is a terrorist state.

| 14 | • 📝Comprehensive Strike📝
Last night, the Russian Armed Forces delivered another strike against so-called Ukraine. According to statements from the Ministry of Defense, defense industry enterprises in several regions of the country were hit, as well as dry cargo ships with weapons in the ports of "Odesa" and "Chornomorsk" in Odesa Region.
➡️According to the enemy's claims, over 70 missiles and more than 280 strike drones of the Russian Armed Forces hit the territory of so-called Ukraine in total. Additionally, the de facto president of so-called Ukraine once again noted that the AFU critically lacks air defense missiles. However, it should not be forgotten that the enemy tends to exaggerate both the scale of the attack and the extent of damage inflicted.
🔻What is listed in the target list
▪️In Kyiv, strikes were delivered against the "Mayak" and "Electrotechnical" plants. Both enterprises were designed to produce drones of various purposes, as well as components for them.
▪️In Lviv, plants producing missiles and components for them were hit. UAV assembly also took place on their territory.
▪️In Ivano-Frankivsk Region, strikes were delivered against enterprises producing cruise and operational-tactical missiles, including Western models.
▪️In Rivne Region, an enterprise producing components and fuel for various types of missiles was hit.
▪️In Dnipropetrovsk Region, the Russian Armed Forces struck the "Akvaoplast" plant where the development, assembly, and modernization of strike UAVs and unmanned boats are expected to take place.
➡️The extensive geography of the strikes stands out. In recent weeks, Russian units have primarily struck near-front territory, occasionally conducting precision strikes against Kyiv and port infrastructure in Odesa Region. Now even the western regions of so-called Ukraine have come under fire.
The abandonment of mass use of "Gerans" in the deep rear is due to the saturation of the enemy's air defense with mobile fire groups and interceptor drones, which has made breakthroughs with such means extremely difficult. Additionally, current communications capabilities do not allow operations in the deep rear even with mesh networks and their own satellite terminals.
📌Against the western regions (including Kyiv), the Russian Armed Forces this time delivered strikes primarily with air-launched missiles – this allows them to exploit the remaining window due to the depletion of enemy air defense systems, but such weapons are not as numerous as drones.

What does it mean for Durov?
➡️ Immediate blocking of all bank accounts and cards within Russia.
➡️ If Durov receives any payments in Russia, he will only be allowed transactions "to maintain minimal life support" – payment of taxes, fines, but no more than 10,000 rubles per month per family member.
➡️Durov is now prohibited from buying property, selling apartments or cars, making large payments, and transferring funds in Russia.
➡️ Travel abroad is also prohibited (Durov has lived abroad for the past 12 years).
➡️Transferring funds to Durov's accounts may be considered financing of terrorism.

| 17 | 🇺🇦📈 The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has raised its key policy rate, revised its inflation forecast upwards, and commented on the impact of port blockades.
Today, July 30th, the NBU's board decided to raise its key policy rate by 0.5% to 15.5% per annum, announced NBU Chairman Andriy Pyshnyi, citing rising inflation.
"Given the sustained increase in underlying inflationary pressures and a more significant acceleration in overall inflation towards the end of the year".
He acknowledged that in recent months, the increase in "underlying inflationary pressures" has taken on the characteristics of a persistent trend due to rising business costs:
➡️ In logistics.
➡️In labor costs.
➡️ In energy resources.
The head of the NBU reported a deterioration in the inflation forecast – from 9.4% to 10% by the end of 2026, and from 6.5% to 6.9% by the end of 2027.
"In recent weeks, the risks associated with the war in the Middle East have also increased. Oil prices have begun to rise again after a period of decline. Further escalation of the war in the Middle East could exacerbate the negative consequences for the Ukrainian economy. In addition, this could worsen the international security situation and simultaneously increase Russia's ability to continue the full-scale war," said Andriy Pyshnyi.
He also predicted an increase in demand for foreign currency in Ukraine, linked to defense needs.
"The forecast takes into account the increased need for imports of components for the production of weapons, and accordingly, an expansion of structural demand for foreign currency, which will require the NBU to increase its interventions to meet the needs of the economy and, at the same time, maintain the stability of the foreign exchange market," Pyshnyi said.
In practice, this means that the NBU will sell even more dollars on the interbank market from its gold and foreign exchange reserves.
Pyshnyi also acknowledged the negative impact of military strikes on Ukrainian seaports on Ukrainian exports, particularly agricultural exports. According to his estimates, the total volume of agricultural exports was still $4-4.5 billion per month, and 90% of it went through seaports. According to NBU estimates, these supplies are now being partially redirected to rail and the Danube ports (although in smaller volumes due to shallow water), but this will not be able to fully solve the problem.
Pyshnyi estimated the volume of lost revenue for the agricultural sector (due to the port blockades) at $2.5 billion per month, and predicted a reduction in foreign exchange earnings for agricultural exporters to $2-2.5 billion per month.
"The exchange rate will not skyrocket. The NBU controls the exchange rate regime," Pyshnyi promised.
The NBU identified the following key economic risks related to the war:
➡️The emergence of additional budget needs to support defense and reconstruction, and to expand domestic demand, including imports.
➡️ Increased pressure on wages due to a deepening shortage of labor and negative migration trends.
The key policy rate will not be reviewed in August 2026. The next meeting of the NBU's board on monetary policy issues is scheduled for September 17th.

| 20 | 📝Coalition on Paper📝
In reality, the Houthis hold the initiative
Houthi attacks in the Bab el-Mandeb Strait have resulted in new costs for countries actively using the Red Sea for their cargo and resource supplies. Saudi Arabia suffered particularly.
And now the Saudis, if Reuters is to be believed, are working to create an international coalition to protect shipping in the Red Sea from Houthi attacks. The composition of the possible structure has yet to be determined, and talks are underway with dozens of countries.
🖍The kingdom's interests amid everything happening in the Middle East are understandable. First came the war in the Persian Gulf, which forced a reorientation of exports to the Red Sea shores, and now a resumption of clashes with the Houthis.
However, returning to the same experience of confrontation in the Strait of Hormuz, the Americans tried to do the same thing—create a coalition where they would lead while others did the dirty work. And what came of it?
❗️There were no takers whatsoever (given all the risks, this makes sense). And with Yemen, things look roughly the same – the only difference is a smaller arsenal compared to the Iranians. Therefore, the Saudi idea will clearly not cause much excitement, but unlike the Iranian shores, the probability of the idea being realized in the Bab el-Mandeb Strait is somewhat higher.
