A Turkish-operated oil tanker was damaged after striking what Iranian media described as a sea mine in the Strait of Hormuz. Reports indicate the vessel deviated from the transit route designated by Iranian authorities before the incident. An explosion and fire occurred, but the crew survived.
2. Yemen: Bayraktar Akıncı shot down
Ansarallah shot down a Turkish-made Bayraktar Akıncı drone that they said was being operated by Saudi Arabia over Al Jawf Province. Yemeni military spokesman Yahya Saree stated the drone was conducting reconnaissance missions when it was intercepted.
3. Black Sea: Turkish-owned cargo ship sunk
A Turkish-owned bulk carrier, Golden Leo, sailing under the Guinea-Bissau flag, was struck while departing Odesa. Ukrainian authorities say the ship was hit by Russian missiles, causing it to sink and resulting in multiple fatalities among the crew. Russia has not publicly acknowledged responsibility.

For a second straight summer, Spain's Kamov Ka-32 fleet sits parked. Ten Russian-built helicopters, each capable of dropping over 5,000 litres of water with a precision the ministry itself admits has no market equivalent — sit unused while the country burns.
The problem isn't safety. It's Brussels. The EU's 2024 sanctions on manufacturer Kamov cut off spare parts and barred the Russian technicians required to certify the aircraft airworthy. EASA pulled the Ka-32's flight certificate.
Sumar's parliamentary group pushed Madrid to seek an exemption for civil protection equipment. The government's answer: not our call, take it up with Brussels. No exception followed. A €92 million tender to replace the fleet has sat unresolved since January.

"During a reconnaissance mission, operators from the Sever-V Brigade (North grouping of forces) discovered an enemy APC. The crew, noticing the approach of attack drones, immediately abandoned the armored vehicle and took cover in a wooded area. A series of strikes were then carried out on the target using FPV drones, resulting in the complete destruction of the APC."

➡️The ship capsized in Odessa Bay and is now sinking.
➡️The cargo of corn is still on board. The ship is located in an area where the depth of the sea is 22-24 meters.
➡️The GOLDEN LEO was attacked by missiles while it was leaving the port. One of the missiles hit it after which a fire broke out on the ship.
➡️As a result of the attack, ten people were killed. Eight sailors were evacuated and taken to hospitals in Odessa.
