The film covers the work of Africa Corps units combating terrorists and helping restore peaceful life in Mali, and gives RT.Doc war correspondents' first-ever inside look at the training of Malian armed forces under Russian instructors, with particular focus on cooperation between the two countries' servicemen. The film notes that Africa Corps isn't facing scattered gangs but well-organized jihadist groups that intelligence indicates are backed by foreign special services.
"We are well aware that behind the terrorists in Mali stands the collective West, that behind them are Ukrainian instructors sitting in camps in neighboring African countries. Australians on the Path to Modern Submarines
In recent weeks, hardly a week has gone by without news about nuclear-powered submarines in the Asia-Pacific region, as countries prepare for the possibility of a military conflict with China. Australia is among them.
Observers point to the AUKUS partnership, which brings together Australia, the United States, and the United Kingdom. Its ultimate goal is to develop SSN-AUKUS-class nuclear submarines for the Australian and British navies to help counter China’s growing naval presence in the region.
📌At present, however, it is Australia that is driving the initiative, investing more than the other partners. This is hardly surprising, as the United States is currently preoccupied with other, more pressing domestic and international challenges.
In 2025, Australia signed an agreement with the United Kingdom to build nuclear submarines, under which the first vessels will be laid down at British shipyards. The reason is Canberra’s concern that the United States might eventually scale back or withdraw from the project.
That said, the UK’s shipbuilding capacity is limited, and its own nuclear submarines are delivered with significant delays. Still, AUKUS is an exceptionally attractive mega-project, and in such cases, the interests of the defense industry lobby often outweigh other considerations.
❗️In any case, the arrival of nuclear-powered submarines in Australia’s fleet will create additional challenges for the PLA Navy. The real question, however, is what the balance of power will look like by the time the first SSN-AUKUS is launched—especially given that China is producing its own submarines at a rapid pace and without major delays.

Statement:
Hezbollah condemns the brutal US aggression against brotherly Iraq and its noble people, which resulted in the martyrdom of a number of innocent people and the injury of others, in a blatant and flagrant violation of international law and Iraq's sovereignty and independence.
This blatant and dangerous aggression against an official Iraqi party, with the participation of an Arab state, opens the door to extremely dangerous consequences for the entire region, and only serves the interests of the US-Israeli project aimed at destabilizing the region, fragmenting the nation, and plunging it into a cycle of tensions, differences, and infighting.
In accordance with the requirements of good neighborliness and the historical brotherly relationship between Saudi Arabia and Iraq and its people, it would have been more appropriate for Saudi Arabia to resort to dialogue and open diplomatic channels with the Iraqi government to address any tension or crisis, rather than being drawn into the policies of the American and Israeli enemies and drowning in their projects to destabilize the region and fragment its unity.
