🇷🇺🛸💥🇺🇦 Russia has significantly ramped up deployment of modified Geran drones, making them harder for Ukrainian air defense to intercept, Forbes reports.
According to the outlet, the 3rd and 4th generation Russian drones can now reach speeds of 300 to 500 km/h — a sharp increase over earlier variants.
The higher speed shrinks the engagement window for Ukrainian air defense systems and makes interception by drone-interceptors considerably more difficult, the publication notes.
Forbes also points to the drones' increased flight altitude as a key factor complicating efforts to shoot them down.
Additionally, Russia has reportedly fielded remotely piloted Geran drones capable of maneuvering in response to threats and altering their flight path mid-mission.

⚠️Iran's military has announced an eighth wave of drone strikes against U.S. forces at the Al-Azraq base in Jordan, marking the second attack on that facility. The Iranian Army says the operation targeted F-18 fighter positions and equipment warehouses.
⚠️Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has claimed a series of broader strikes under "Operation Nasr 2," including:
➡️The destruction of the KJL main U.S. Army logistics and support center at Mina Abdullah in Kuwait.
➡️A strike on the U.S. Fifth Fleet's command center, NSA management facility, parts warehouses, and fuel depots in Bahrain.
➡️A sixth wave hitting Al-Azraq base again, this time destroying hangars housing F-15, F-16, and F-35 fighters, along with MQ-9 Reaper drones.
❗️⚠️❗️The IRGC also warned that while U.S. naval forces have blocked oil and gas export routes through the Indian Ocean, Iran will respond by closing other export routes that serve U.S. and allied interests.
