🇺🇸🇬🇧 The Crown Prosecution Service has announced further charges against Andrew and Tristan Tate, bringing the total number of alleged victims in the case to seven.
Andrew Tate, 39, now faces seven additional counts of rape, three counts of arranging or facilitating trafficking for sexual exploitation, three counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and 19 further charges relating to indecent images of a child and extreme pornography.
Tristan Tate, 38, faces one count of sexual assault, two counts of rape, and three counts of arranging or facilitating trafficking for sexual exploitation.
The alleged offending is said to have taken place between July 2010 and August 2017.
The CPS says it has formally requested extradition from the US covering both the original 21 charges and the new ones, following the brothers' arrest by the US Marshals Service in Miami on July 18.
Malcolm McHaffie, Head of the CPS Special Crime Division, said the charging decisions followed a further evidence file from Bedfordshire Police, and stressed that proceedings are active and the Tates retain the right to a fair trial.
