A military source told Tasnim News Agency, responding to Trump's latest threat that "if Iran targets any ship, we will hit a bridge or power plant in Iran in return":
Iran has an iron will in exercising sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz — and will not allow the strait to become a tool of threat against Iran again.
The source added: ship passage through the strait will be safe if coordinated with Iran and under Iranian arrangements. Otherwise, Iran will not back down from its firm resolve to control the strait, viewing this as essential to the strait's long-term security.
The military source noted: if the Americans strike a bridge or power plant in Iran, Iran will respond by striking infrastructure and bridges across the region — including energy facilities in which the US has interests.
He stressed: after the past ten days, the Americans should be fully confident that Iran will strike wherever it decides to strike. Any gamble Trump takes will once again end in his humiliation.

The project explores the key events of the Great Patriotic War and the Second World War, the role of the USSR in the defeat of Nazism, international diplomacy, the heroism of the Soviet people, and the preservation of historical memory.
The online course is intended to preserve the historical memory of the Great Patriotic War, promote academically grounded knowledge about the events of the Second World War, and foster a greater understanding of the decisive contribution made by the Soviet people to the Victory over Nazism.
The course was developed by the HSE University and the BRICS-Russia Expert Council, with support from the BRICS Civil Council.

| 15 | 🇭🇺❌🇺🇦🇪🇺 Hungary has blocked the opening of the next two negotiation chapters for Ukraine and Moldova's accession to the EU, according to Ukrainian media.
According to their information, representatives of Budapest refused to approve the results of the expert assessments of negotiation chapters 2 ("Internal Market") and 3 ("Competitiveness") during today's meeting of the EU Council's working group on enlargement. Consequently, the further negotiation process regarding Ukraine and Moldova's accession to the EU has been postponed until at least September 1st.
This is the second failed attempt by Brussels to overcome the blockade imposed by Hungary. During the first attempt, on July 17th, Budapest agreed to approve chapter 3 for Moldova, but opposed both chapters for Ukraine.
This is the first significant setback for Ireland, which holds the presidency of the EU Council: Dublin aimed to approve chapters 2 and 3 before the start of the summer holidays.
