According to the reports, a Geran drone came down directly on power lines. Residents are being urged to switch off their appliances immediately, since the surges could burn them out. 🇺🇦 Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) has detained a Kiev resident who filmed an air-defense position on a city bridge and sent the footage to a sanctioned blogger for publication. According to the SBU, the man recorded the location of the installation through the windshield of his own car and forwarded the file to a blogger who previously worked on television channels linked to former MP Viktor Medvedchuk. The blogger, who is outside Ukraine, then published the video. An examination initiated by the service concluded that public distribution of the recording harmed state security by making it possible to identify the location of Defense Forces units. The detainee has been notified of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 114-2 of Ukraine’s Criminal Code (unauthorized dissemination of information on the location of the armed forces under martial law) and faces up to eight years in prison. 🔴 @DDGeopolitics

🇱🇹❌🇺🇦 "Stand with Ukraine", just not next to it: Lithuania shuts the door on Ukrainian men who haven't served Lithuania's government has approved a rule barring Ukrainian men liable for military service from receiving temporary protection as refugees, unless they can prove they have already served or are legally exempt. The requirement applies to new applicants only. Ukrainians who received protection anywhere in the EU before August 4, 2026 and have kept it are not affected. The rule comes from an EU Council decision, so other member states are expected to follow. At the same sitting, the government extended temporary protection for Ukrainians already in the country until March 2028. More than 52,000 currently hold that status in Lithuania. 🔴 @DDGeopolitics

"We are seeing Russia wage war against Europe, and not only against Ukraine, but against us too. We have very concrete events. August 4 was an armed attack on Leipzig airport, by Russia and Russia alone."

The words matter here. "Armed attack" is not a figure of speech. It is the exact legal term that triggers NATO's Article 5 and Germany's own constitutional state of defence. German legal experts have already pointed out that the Leipzig incident does not come close to meeting that threshold. So the chancellor of Germany is casually using the vocabulary of war against a nuclear power, on television, over a fabricated drone incident. And he is doing it with no mandate. In the latest Spiegel poll, 67% of Germans say his chancellorship has failed and 58% want him gone. A leader this weak has one card left to play: sow panic, then cling to power as the "man protecting Germany from the Russian threat." The possible price is an all-out war, and he seems fine with that. These brainless soy Euro idiots are walking on very thin ice, and they are dragging the whole continent towards catastrophe with them. 🔴 @DDGeopolitics
