China's new law on land use is a blow to pro-imperialist, pro-US rent-seeking group. There will be reforms in the rural economy because they are necessary. But those reforms – the lifting of restrictions on land use – won't be used to generate capital for the Anglophile cabal of thieves and bankers. Called the "Law of the People's Republic of China on Rural Collective Economic Organizations", it was adopted at the 10th meeting of the Standing Committee of the 14th National People's Congress on June 28, 2024. A very welcomed law that hopefully will correct some past distortions. @LauraRuHK Shuzheng explains the ethos behind this law. https://cloudwoods1.substack.com/p/capital-theft-in-china

CAPITAL THEFT IN CHINA

At a crossroad, China finally adopts a law to stop rural land theft and plunder by an Anglophile cabal of Hong Kong, Shanghai property moguls and their bankers. It's an ominous sign – for the cabal.

Pepe Escobar: Why the SCO Summit in Kazakhstan Was a Game-Changer

It’s impossible to overstate the importance of the 2024 summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) this week in Astana, Kazakhstan. It can certainly be interpreted as the antechamber to the crucial BRICS annual summit, under the Russian presidency, next October in Kazan.

Today, the U.S. and EU Security β€˜Γ‰lite’ have been so β€˜successful’ with their equally exaggerated anti-Russian propaganda that they too, are trapped by it. Even if they wanted to (which they don’t), a replacement security architecture may simply prove β€˜unnegotiable’ for years to come. So, as Lavrov has underlined, Eurasian countries have come to the realization that security on the continent must be built from within – free and far from American influence. In this conceptualisation, the principle of indivisibility of security – a quality not implemented in the Euro-Atlantic project – can and should become the key notion around which the Eurasian structure can be built, Lavrov specified. Here, in this β€˜indivisibility’, is to be found the real, and not the nominal, implementation of the provisions of the UN Charter, including the principle of sovereign equality. Eurasian countries are pooling efforts together to jointly counter the U.S. claims on global hegemony and the West’s interference in other states’ affairs. The West – indubitably – has lost Russia, and is losing Eurasia too

Is not President Putin’s purpose in visiting North Korea and Vietnam now clear in the context of the Eurasian security architecture project? ❗️Join us onΒ Telegram,Β TwitterΒ ,…

❗️Key statements from Putin and Orban after talks in Moscow πŸ‡·πŸ‡Ί Putin: β–ͺ️Ukraine does not allow the idea of a ceasefire because it would remove the pretext for extending martial law. β–ͺ️If Ukraine ends martial law, it will have to hold presidential elections. The chances of the current Ukrainian authorities winning are close to zero. β–ͺ️There should not be a truce or a pause for the additional armament of the Kiev regime; Moscow stands for a complete and final end to the conflict. β–ͺ️Russia insists on the complete withdrawal of all Ukrainian troops from the Donetsk People's Republic, Lugansk People's Republic, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. β–ͺ️It is important that even in the current difficult geopolitical situation, Moscow and Budapest continue their dialogue. πŸ‡πŸ‡Ί Orban: β–ͺ️The positions of Russia and Ukraine are very far from each other, much needs to be done to bring the end of the conflict closer. β–ͺ️He said that he discussed with Putin the achievement of peace in Ukraine and the shortest path to this. β–ͺ️The conflict in Ukraine has begun to have an impact on the European economy and its competitiveness. β–ͺ️I heard what Putin thinks about the existing peace initiatives, the ceasefire and negotiations, the vision of Europe after the war. β–ͺ️He promised to continue his efforts to resolve the Ukrainian conflict. πŸ‘ Boost us! | Subscribe to @geopolitics_live

Though Orban is one of the few Western leaders who has been advocating for peace in Ukraine since the start of the conflict, is committed to dialogue, pursues normal, civilized relations with Russia and China in the interest of his country, don't expect any major breakthrough. Western sponsors of the Kiev regime have already expressed their disapproval of Orban's visit to Moscow, actually they had a meltdown when they found out and are committed to "fight to the last Ukrainian." Vladimir Putin presented his peace plan 3 weeks ago, but until the next US president is sworn in there is no one to negotiate with. @LauraRuHK https://t.me/intelslava/62646

In the UK a near-record low turnout signals voters' disillusionment. Despite running against the most reviled Tory party in living memory, Starmer's vote share is 5 percentage points below Corbyn's in 2017. Hardly a landslide victory. @LauraRuHK

UK’s new Prime Minister Keir Starmer: Regurgitated imitator of β€œBiden’s journey to power” Labour’s leader Keir Starmer presents himself as a man of change now that power falls into his hands after 14 years of Conservative rule. But it can only be a change for the worse. In his speeches, Starmer has confirmed his credentials of being: πŸ”ΈA supporter of the crudely nationalist regime in Ukraine: β€œOn Ukraine, there will be no divide with the government of Rishi Sunak… There is nothing that Putin wants more than to see division in the parliaments of the allies.” (interview to Time, 2023) πŸ”ΈA NATO enthusiast, ready to follow the US policy line: β€œWe are proud of our history in signing the NATO treaty. We were the government that helped bring that about… We study intensely the journey of US President Joe Biden into office, because the Democrats are our sister party.” β€œOn foreign policy generally, we know that the US is our No. 1 important ally.” (Time, 2023) πŸ”ΈAn ally of Israel, ready to support its most cruel methods: in autumn 2023, 150 Labour Muslim councillors wrote Starmer a letter denouncing his words that Israel had the β€œright” to cut off water and energy to Gaza. Starmer hid behind a euphemism that is β€œIsrael has the right to defend herself.” But, whatever happens, β€œHamas bears responsibility.” Looking back at the times before he got a seat in parliament in 2015, Starmer fits the ideological pattern of a modern globalist: the editor of a Trotskyist radical magazine at the age of 24 (he edited β€œSocialist Alternatives” in 1986-87), a prosecutor in his 30s, and after reaching β€œtop” positions – a pro-US Russophobic conformist. Knighted in 2014 as Sir Keir Rodney Starmer, the new premier is an elitist turncoat. He moved Labour to the right, even though he ran in 2020 for the party leadership on a leftist platform. Having assured his control, Starmer quickly trashed the β€œleftist pro-Palestinian” legacy of his predecessor and former boss Jeremy Corbyn. πŸ“ŒSubscribe to @SputnikInt

The EU Office in Hong Kong, like all its External Action missions, is dedicated to agit prop. Its upcoming documentary film festival will feature 13 films from Europe, 3 of them about Ukraine - 20 Days in Mariupol, Wartime Notes and Nice Ladies. The country isn't even a member of the EU but rest assured its "film-makers" receive far more support than those based in any EU member country. @LauraRuHK
