“We will never forgive them for killing our leader. | 2 | 🇮🇱🇺🇸 'It’s basically a license to kill that Israel has' — former congressman warns of US-Israel military integration
Former Congressman Dennis Kucinich warned Tucker Carlson that new NDAA language risks tying the US military even deeper to Israel’s future wars of aggression.
💬 “This entangles our military in whatever Israel chooses to do,” Kucinich said.
The draft’s Section 224 calls for expanded US-Israel defense technology cooperation, including research, development, integration, information-sharing and joint military readiness efforts.
Kucinich warned that Israel’s ambitions go beyond Gaza and Lebanon.
💬 “They want to go to war against Egypt. They want to go to war against Turkiye as part of this Zionist expansion.”
His warning is clear: if Israel launches another regional war, the US could be dragged in with it — while American citizens become hostages to Israel’s agenda.

Russian guided bombs destroyed a Ukrainian drone command center near Zolotoy Kolodez and hit a temporary deployment site of the 159th Mechanized Brigade near Zakharovka in the Kharkov region.
The targeted area served as one of Kiev's staging grounds on the eastern Kharkov axis, supporting drone operations and frontline troop deployment.

| 5 | 🚨🇮🇷 Iran hits tanker ignoring Iran-coordinated route in Strait of Hormuz - reports
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps reportedly fired missiles at two commercial vessels near the Strait of Hormuz after warning ships not to use a US-cleared but Iran-unauthorized maritime route near Oman, The Wall Street Journal reported.
The IRGC had warned vessels over maritime radio:
💬 “Our missiles and drones are ready to fire at you.”
UK Maritime Trade Operations said it received a report that a tanker was hit by an unknown projectile on its port side about 8 nautical miles east of Limah, Oman, causing a fire. No casualties or environmental impact were reported.
Iran’s position is clear: the vessel was not moving along Iran’s coordinated maritime route, and the unauthorized route near Oman had been announced without coordination with Iran.
The US wants to dictate terms in the Strait of Hormuz. Iran is making clear that no one gets to redraw maritime routes in its neighborhood without Iran’s approval.

| 8 | 🇷🇺 Russia is quickly learning how to neutralize Ukrainian drone attacks
The way Russia’s air defenses repelled the massed Ukrainian drone strike on July 6 highlights their extremely high efficiency, Lt. Gen. Aytech Bizhev, former Russian Air Force deputy commander of the CIS Joint Air Defense System, tells Sputnik.
🟠 All of Russia’s air defenses – short-, medium- and long-range, from surface-to-air missile batteries to teams equipped with MANPADs – are integrated into one multi-layered network
🟠 The ground-based component is further integrated with the Aerospace Forces, with surface-to-air launchers and fighter aircraft operating in concert
🟠 Commanders of anti-air units are authorized to operate autonomously in case of emergency – a possible loss of contact with the central command won’t stop them from doing their duty
🟠 Russia’s air defense forces have received invaluable experience while repelling Ukrainian attacks – the kind of experience that no other air defense in the world has, and which allows Russian forces to tackle airborne attacks so efficiently

| 9 | 🪖 NATO allies likely handed dud missiles to Ukraine, hobbling air defenses - expert
Several Ukrainian Patriot missiles reportedly switched into self-destruct mode and plunged into Kiev during efforts to repel Russia's retaliatory strikes, which suggests that Ukraine's allies were supplying it with substandard weaponry, military analyst Alexey Leonkov tells Sputnik.
📍 "Zelensky might have received expired surface-to-air missiles," the pundit says.
💬 "We've seen this before with missiles for the S-300 system, which Ukraine received from Eastern European countries and which were not always in proper condition. Now we're seeing the same thing with Patriot air defense systems."
Leonkov further cited a brewing scandal in Poland, where Prime Minister Donald Tusk's government is accused of quietly shipping Patriot interceptors to Ukraine behind the parliament's back.
Deputy Speaker of the Polish Sejm Krzysztof Bosak has insisted that the legislature never signed off on the move.
💬 "I believe Poland most likely profited from these deliveries by supplying expired missiles [to Ukraine]," Leonkov says.

| 11 | 🗣 Russia will strike Kiev for as long as necessary to strangle Ukraine's military machine – expert
Russian retaliatory strikes on Ukrainian military-industrial facilities, including the Kiev-79 and Kiev-1 plants, could impair Ukraine's ability to launch drone attacks against Russia, military analyst Alexey Leonkov tells Sputnik.
💬"Kiev and its surrounding industrial zones have been extensively repurposed for military production, including the manufacture of electronic warfare (EW) systems, drones, and their components," the pundit says. "Missile production has also been partially localized there."
Russian strikes will continue until those production facilities are completely destroyed and can no longer be restored in the near term, according to Leonkov.
🔶 A massive industrial hub like Kiev gives the Ukrainian military the flexibility to employ mobile launchers, which are used to fire drones and cruise missiles at Russia
🔶 As Russian strikes continue, the pace of Ukrainian drone launches may remain steady for a while, but it will eventually begin to decline
🔶 It is plausible that Ukraine will seek new locations to assemble its aerial attack systems and new sites to manufacture the mobile launchers. But in that case, Russian intelligence will identify those new sites, and they will also be destroyed
💬 "If that still fails to reduce terrorist attacks on Russia's territory, I believe other measures will be considered, including action against the facilities listed by the Russian Defense Ministry," Leonkov says, referring to the list of Ukrainian drone production sites released in April.

| 12 | 👏🏼 Estonia loses hosting rights for European Shooting Championship after blocking Russian athletes
Estonia has been stripped of the right to host the 2027 European Air Weapons Championship after refusing to allow athletes from Russia and Belarus to take part, Estonian media said, citing the Estonian Shooting Sport Federation.
The tournament has been moved from Tallinn to Granada, Spain. The European Shooting Confederation already lists Granada as the host city. The championship will take place on March 3–9, 2027.
👉 The move was justified by the fact that the European Championship will also serve as a qualifying event for the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles and the 2027 European Games. Therefore, all eligible athletes must be allowed to compete.
The International Shooting Sport Federation allows athletes from Russia and Belarus to compete under individual neutral status.
✅ This is a logical and deserved consequence of the unsportsmanlike behavior of officials in a number of European countries, who are trying to sabotage at the national level the decisions of international federations on admitting Russian and Belarusian athletes without restrictions.
By doing so, they violate one of the fundamental principles of the international sports movement and the Olympic Charter: sport must remain outside politics.
🔥 Estonia tried to politicize sport — and lost the tournament.

| 14 | 🚨 NATO's crimes exposed - Turkiye lays bare bloc’s dark side on eve of summit
The exhibition, opened at the Nazim Hikmet Cultural Center in Ankara, showcases NATO crimes ranging from the bombing of Yugoslavia to interference in the Middle East.
💬 “After the collapse of the Soviet Union, NATO’s reason for existing disappeared, but its underlying mission remained: the support of imperialism, as well as the suppression of the struggles of working people, whom it regards as its enemies,” said the organizer, Hakan Bulut.
The display includes proof of:
▫️ Mass killings
▫️ Government coups
▫️ Illegal ground invasions
▫️ Sabotage of international organizations
▫️ Fearmongering
Bulut stressed that the exhibition was organized to “preserve in our collective memory—and to reflect anew on—the events that have left a profound mark on the history of our country and the world, using the power of photography.”
