| 6 |  UPDATE: A desperate search is underway for more than 1,500 people still missing after catastrophic flooding devastates Nepal and Tibet.
At least 547 people are dead, with about 90 Americans among those still unaccounted for.
The disaster was reportedly triggered by a glacier collapse that sent a wall of water and mud several stories high tearing through the region. Now, more rain could complicate the race to find survivors.

This morning we arrested and federally charged a Honduran national for unlawfully registering to vote in California and falsely claiming to be a U.S. citizen.
Darwin Jonathan Rivera Flores, 30, of Winnetka, is charged with two felonies and faces deportation if convicted.
Because states like California allow non-citizens to easily register to vote and receive a ballot by mail, there is no telling how many non-citizens are currently registered.
It is time for California to comply with AAG Dhillon’s request for a comprehensive audit of its voter rolls to protect the integrity of our elections.
All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.

| 9 |  MEDIA BLACKOUT: Two young people were shot and killed in Louisiana, a 17-year-old is charged with TWO counts of first-degree murder, and somehow this story has barely gone farther than local news.
Gonzales police say Joseph Appiah, 17 (pictured left) is charged in the deaths of Tegan Daigle, 17, and Jared Downey, 21, after officers responding to gunfire found both victims dead near Downey's home.
Appiah also faces criminal-conspiracy, aggravated-assault, drug and firearms charges.
Search their names and watch how quickly the coverage dries up once you get outside Louisiana.
Two young people are dead. A teenager is facing the most serious murder charges possible. Their families' lives are destroyed.
Apparently that STILL wasn't enough to make this national - but if the race roles were reversed, it would be a different story.
Tegan Daigle and Jared Downey deserved more than a local crime brief.

| 15 |  A vehicle fire call led firefighters to something far more horrifying. Crews responding to a secluded Oregon property discovered human remains. Investigators ultimately found FIVE people dead, along with several animals.
Authorities identified 36-year-old Benjamin Charles Parker as the suspect. Parker lived at the property with one of the victims, 26-year-old Stella Kimsey, and investigators say they do NOT believe the killings were random.
The search for Parker then crossed state lines into Washington, where police found him dead inside his vehicle. Authorities believe he died by suicide.
Now investigators say processing the evidence and reconstructing exactly what happened at that property could take MONTHS.
