| 19 | As part of the SPHMMC Global Health Summer Academy and Student Exchange Program, we were delighted to host Barock Caleb Tesfaye, a fourth-year Medical Student, Neuroscience Major from Vanderbilt University, USA, for a two-week observership at St. Paul's Hospital Millennium Medical College (SPHMMC).
During his observership, Barock gained an exposure to our Pre-Anesthesia Clinic, Operating Rooms (OR), and Adult Intensive Care Unit (ICU), where he observed multidisciplinary clinical care, perioperative management, and critical care services. This experience provided an excellent opportunity for academic exchange, professional growth, and cross-cultural learning.
As a meaningful contribution to SPHMMC, Barock generously donated a portable ultrasound machine, which will strengthen bedside diagnostics and enhance patient care across our clinical services.
We sincerely thank Barock for his dedication, generosity, and commitment to global health. | 3 216 |
