هاي قصة كتبها شاعِر فرنسي إسمه تيوفيل غوتييه. بالقصة، تجي شهرزاد بِزَي تُركي¹ هي وأُختها دنيازاد للشاعِر لأنها بعدما أمضَت ألف ليلة وليلة وية السلطان خلصت كل حكاياتها وبعد ما عدها قصص جديدة ترويها، فتطلب من الشاعر أنْ يساعدها قبلما السلطان يقتلها. أمّا غالان اللي ديحجون عنه، فهذا جان مستشرِق أُوروبي اجة للشرق الأوسط بالقرن الـ 18 واكتشف كتاب غريب ويف إسمه «ألف ليلة وليلة». بوقتها هو اللي ترجم الكتاب لأول مرة للفرنسية، وبسببه إشتهرت ألف ليلة وليلة بأوروبا وانتشرت ومن خلالها زاد إهتمام الأوروبيين بالشرق. ¹القصة انكتبت بالقرن الـ 19 بفرنسا، فأي شي من الشرق الأوسط جانوا يعتبروه تركي.
