የኢትዮጵያ ቀይ መስቀል ማኅበር ከዓለም አቀፍ የቀይ መስቀል ኮሜቴ ጋር በመተባበርና በወጣቶች ልማት፣ በጎ ፈቃደኞችና የአባልነት አስተዳደር የስራ ክፍሉ አማካይነት ከሰኔ 17-19፣ 2018 ዓ.ም በምስራቅ ወለጋ፣ ነቀምቴ ከተማ ለበጎ ፈቃደኞች እና ለዲቪኤም(Dissemination, Volunteer, and Membership )ባለሙያዎች የሶስት ቀናት ስልጠና ሰጥቷል።

ከሶልፈሪኖ ዐውደ ውጊያ ወደ ዓለም አቀፍ የሰብዓዊነት እንቅስቃሴ የተደገረ ጉዞ ❤️
በዚህ ሳምንት እ.አ.አ. ሰኔ 24 1859 ሶልፈሪኖ በተባለች አንዲት የጣሊያን መንደር በሰው ልጅ ታሪክ ውስጥ እጅግ ደም አፋሳሽ የሆነ ጦርነት ተደረገ፡፡ በአንድ ቀን ብቻ ከ40ሺህ በላይ ወታደሮች ሙትና ቁስለኛ በሆኑበት በዚህ ውጊያ በርካታ ቁስለኞች የህክምና እርዳታ፤ምግብና ውሃ ሳያገኙ በየሜዳው ወድቀው ነበር፡፡
በጊዜው ይህን የጦርነት ዘግኛኝ ሁኔታ በዚህ ስፍራ ተገኝተው ከታዘቡት ሰዎች መካከል ለግል የንግድ ስራ ጉዳዩ በሶልፈሪኖ የተገኘው ወጣቱ ስዊዘርላንዳዊ ነጋዴ ሄንሪ ዱና አንዱ ነበር፡፡ በተመለከተው ነገር ክፉኛ ልቡ የተነካው ሄንሪ ዱና የሄደበትን የስራ ጉዳይ ትቶ የአካባቢውን ሰዎች በማሰባሰብና በማስተባበር ማን የየትኛው ተዋጊ ወገን ነው ሳይል ለጦርነቱ ተጎጂዎች ሁሉ ሰብዓዊ ድጋፍ ማድረግ ጀመረ፡፡
ሄንሪ ዱና ለዚህ ሰብዓዊ ተግባር ያሰባሰባቸው ሰዎችም- በጣሊያንኛ “ቱቲ ፍራቴሊ!” ወይም “ሁላችንም ወንድማማቾች ነን !“ በሚል ቀላል ግን ደግሞ ወሳኝ መርህ ስር ተሰባስበው በጦርነቱ ጉዳት ለደረሰባቸው ወታደሮች ያለምንም አድሎ ሰብዓዊ ድጋፍ አደረጉላቸው፡፡
“ቱቲ ፍራቴሊ!”—“ሁላችንም ወንድማማቾች ነን!”
እንግዲህ በዚህች ዕለት የተፈጸመው ይህ የርህራሄ ተግባር ነው በሰው ልጆች ታሪክ ውስጥ አቅጣጫ ቀያሪ ክስተት ሆኖ ተመዘገበው፡፡ለተጨማሪ፡

ከነሐሴ 2016 ዓ.ም. ጀምሮ የኢትዮጵያ ቀይ መስቀል ማኅበር ከአሜሪካ መንግሥት ጋር በመተባበር እየተገበረ ያለው ፕሮጀክት በኦሮሚያ ክልል በሚገኙ ሰባት ዞኖች ከ560,000 በላይ ሰዎችን ደርሷል። ፕሮጀክቱ በጊዜያዊ መጠለያዎች፣ በውሃና ስነ ንፅህና ድጋፍ እንዲሁም ሁለገብ የጥሬ ገንዘብ ድጋፍ ከ177,000 በላይ ተፈናቃዮችን ተደራሽ በማድረግ በርካቶች ከነበሩበት አስቸጋሪ ሁኔታ ወደ ተሻለ ሁኔታ እንዲሸጋገሩ አስችሏል።

Through transitional shelters, essential WASH support, and multipurpose cash assistance, the project has assisted over 177,000 internally displaced people, helping families move from crisis toward recovery, resilience, and hope.

The Ethiopian Red Cross Society (ERCS), a pioneer of ambulance services in Ethiopia, launched its ambulance service in 1952, making it the country's oldest and most organized ambulance service. Initially operating in major urban centers such as Addis Ababa and Harar, the service provided emergency transportation and first aid assistance to people in need, laying the foundation for organized pre-hospital emergency care in Ethiopia.

Branch office supports Vulnerable Households with Food Assistance
The Ethiopian Red Cross Society (ERCS) Amhara Regional Branch, through its Bahir Dar and North Gojjam Coordination Office, has provided essential food assistance to 50 vulnerable households across ten woredas in North Gojjam Zone.
The support targeted individuals facing significant protection and socioeconomic challenges, including survivors of gender-based violence, adolescent mothers, vulnerable street-connected children, and persons with disabilities.
