Not every request deserves a yes.
Not every invitation deserves your time.
and not everyone deserves unlimited access to you.
Sometimes, saying no is not being rude, it is protecting ur priorities, ur peace & ur future.
If u keep sayin yes to everyone, u may eventually start saying no to yourself.
Learn to say
No, I can’t.
No, I’m not interested.
No, that doesn’t work for me.
You dont need to feel guilty for having boundaries.
Say no when you need to.

| 2 | Why does genuineness feel so rare?
We see friendships built around benefits, r/ships driven by convenience and kindness sometimes used as a strategy rather than a reflection of character.
may be we v become afraid to be real. in a world of constant competition, comparison & self interest, being genuine can feel like a weakness. So ppl learn to hide intentions, deceive, manipulate & choose personal benefit over honesty.
But
It is easy to criticize others while ignoring the moments when we hv chosen convenience over honesty or personal gain over doin what is right.
perhaps the real challenge isn't learnin how to outsmart everyone else.
Maybe it's learning how to remain human while everyone else is learning how to play the game.

| 4 | A Lesson We Should Pay Attention To 🔥
China recently discontinued or suspended around 12,000 university programs over the past 12 years as universities adjusted their programs to changing economic and workforce needs.
When I first came across this, what caught my attention wasn’t the number itself.
It was the question behind it👇
Are our universities preparing people for the economy we have today or the economy we are moving toward?
Marketing is a good example.
For a long time, marketing education focused on things like advertising, communication, branding, campaign planning and consumer psychology.
But the environment has changed dramatically.
today, generative AI can write ad copy, create social media content, generate visuals, analyze data, and handle many repetitive tasks faster and at a fraction of the cost.
and modern commerce is increasingly driven by data, algorithms, digital platforms, experimentation, and technology.
that doesn't mean marketing is dead.
It means the definition of a marketer is changing.
the valuable marketer of the future wont just know how to promote something. they will understand customers, data, AI, technology, distribution, and how to turn all of these into growth.
This applies far beyond marketing.
Every field is being reshaped.
and I think this is something we, especially students, need to take seriously.
We shouldn't only ask
What should I study?
We should also ask
How is this field changing and what skills will still matter five or ten years from now?

| 5 | over the past few years, one thing I’ve learned from leading teams and building startups is that success is rarely about one great idea or one extraordinary person. It’s about what you build around them.
When you’re leading a team or trying to grow a startup, it’s easy to focus on immediate results, getting things done, hitting targets, solving today’s problems and pushing for the next milestone. but over time, I’v realized that what truly determines whether an organization succeeds is the system behind the people.
we need to build systems that make organizations productive and high performing, work cultures that people genuinely resonate with and strategies that don’t just create short term wins but make those wins sustainable.
bcz the real goal isn’t simply to win once. It’s to build an organization that knows how to keep winning even when the people, challenges and circumstances change.

| 7 | Recently, I was struggling with my Tele Unlimited package, and honestly it bothered me more than I expected.😭😁
It might sound like a small problem, but when you are running even a small startup, something as simple as internet access can affect almost everything communicating with your team, responding to customers, managing social media, accessing platforms, attending meetings, and simply getting work done.
And that small frustration made me think about something much bigger how interconnected this world really is.
Imagine if one of Google's major services, like Gmail, suddenly stopped working today. Millions of businesses around the world would immediately feel the impact. Emails wouldn't be delivered, authentication systems could fail, customer communication could be disrupted, invoices and documents could become inaccessible, and countless business processes could come to a halt.
Now bring that same idea closer to home.
Imagine if telecom services across Ethiopia stopped working just for hours/days. Thousands of businesses would struggle to operate. Digital payments could be disrupted. Customers couldn't reach businesses. Teams couldn't communicate. Online services would slow down or stop. The economic impact could run into billions of birr.
And that's what amazes me.
We live in a world where everything is interconnected to something else.
Electricity, Telecom networks, Internet infrastructure, Cloud servers, Banking systems, Payment platforms, Data centers, GPS, Undersea cables, APIs, Email.
Most of these things are almost invisible when they work. We don't think about them because we've become accustomed to their existence.
But when one of them stops working, we suddenly realize how much we depended on it.
So I think we need to Learn valuing things even when they don't seem important.
Because something that looks small, ordinary, or insignificant from our perspective might actually be supporting something much bigger.

| 8 | don't just prepare yourself to become a founder.
If u r gonna start / found a business, pls make sure you are aware of this
Founding and scaling a business are two complely different things
Foundin is about starting from nothing , validating the idea, finding ur first customers, building the product, takin risks & proving that the business can work.
Scaling is d/t. It is about buildin systems, people, processes, culture & leadership that allow the business to grow without everything depending on you.
What works with 10 customers may not work with 10,000.
What works with a team of 3 may create chaos with a team of 30.
So don't just prepare yourself to become a founder.
Prepare yourself to become a leader capable of scaling what you build.

| 15 | Sometimes I wonder why I love business so much 😂
It’s not bcz it’s easy… actually, it’s the opposite.
I love the pressure of fighting for market share, creating strategies, competing with smart people, losing sometimes & learning painful but valuable lessons.
I love having 100 things to handle at the same time, solving unexpected problems, making decisions with uncertainty & experiencing those moments of “what are we going to do now?” 😅
The stress, the battles, the anxiety, the wins, the failures, the lessons… somehow, all of it makes the journey exciting.
Business is not just about making money. It’s a real life strategy game where every day brings a new challenge.
And honestly… I love this game.
