Sometimes I stop & think… we r really lucky to be living in the AI era.
Imagine doin today's work without AI. The amount of time we would spend searching, writing, analyzing, designing & solving problems… we would probably need 48 hours in a dy. 😂
AI is like having a super smart assistant that never sleeps, never gets tired & is always ready to help (unlike some of our friends who disappear when we need them 😅).
But the funny thing is, we are still at the beginning. The AI we have today will look like a basic calculator compared to what is coming next.
The future generation will look back and say:
"Wait… people used to work without AI? How did they survive?" 😂
The opportunity is huge. Those who learn how to use AI effectively will multiply their creativity, productivity & impact.

Why Founders Wake Up at mid night😭
Entrepreneurship is often celebrated thrgh success stories, funding announcements & milestones. bt there is another side that ppl rarely talk about.
Some dys the pressure becomes overwhelming.
You begin to question ur own abilities. u wonder whether ur strategy is the right one. Every new competitor makes u rethink everything you've built. u compare ur progress with others & ask yourself if you're moving fast enough.
There r nights when you wake up in the middle of ur sleep, not bcz of noise but bcz ur mind refuses to stop workin. ur thoughts race from one challenge to another. customers, products, the team, finances & the future.
this has been my reality lately as we compete in Ethiopia's rapidly growing start up ecosystem.
Yet i v learned sthn important, stress doesn't always mean you're on the wrong path. Sometimes it simply means you're carrying a responsibility that matters deeply to you.
Every meaningful mission comes with moments of uncertainty. the goal is not to eliminate fear, but to keep moving & refusing to quit.
to every founder who is quietly fighting battles no one else can see. you're not alone. Keep learning. Keep improving. Keep going.

በዚህች ምድር ላይ ትልቁና እጅግ ሀይለኛው መሳርያ ምንድነው?
አንዳንዶቻችሁ ገንዘብ ልትሉ ትችላላችሁ። ሌሎች ደግሞ ‘የጦር መሳርያ’፣ ‘የፖለቲካ ስልጣን’ ወይም ‘የረቀቀ ቴክኖሎጂ’ ልትሉ ትችላላችሁ። ነገር ግን እነዚህ ሁሉ መልሶች ስህተት ናቸው። እነሱ የማጠናቀቂያ ውጤቶች ብቻ ናቸው።
ከእነዚህ ሁሉ በስተጀርባ የሚንቀሳቀስ፣ በአይን የማይታይ አንድ እጅግ ግዙፍ ሀይል አለ! ይህ ሀይል በስተጀርባ ሆኖ የሚሰራ ቢሆንም፣ እኛ የምንኖርባትን አለም ግን ሙሉ በሙሉ የሚቀርጽ እሱ ነው።
ይህ ሀይል ለበርካታ ታላላቅ የንግድ ድርጅቶች መክሰርና መውደቅ፣ እንዲሁም ለሌሎች ስኬታማ ተቋማት የቢሊዮን ዶላሮች ስኬት በስተጀርባ ያለው ምስጢራዊ መሃንዲስ ነው።
ይህ ሀይል በዘመናዊ ፖለቲካ ውስጥ መሪዎችን የሚሾም፣ ምርጫዎችን የሚቀይር እና በሚሊዮን የሚቆጠሩ ህዝቦችን በአንድ አረፍተ ነገር ብቻ እንደ ፈለገ የሚያንቀሳቅስ ሞተር ነው።
ይህ ሀይል የግል ብራንድ (Personal Branding) መሰረት ሲሆን፣ ተራ ሰዎችን ወደ ታላላቅ መሪዎችና የብዙሃን አርአያነት የሚቀይር ጥበብ ነው።
ይህ ሀይል የመጀመሪያው ጥይት ከመተኮሱ በፊት ጦርነቶች የሚያልቁበት፣ ድልና ሽንፈት የሚወሰንበት የስነ ልቦና የጦር ሜዳ ነው።
ይህ ሀይል ሁልጊዜም ተለዋዋጭ (Dynamic) ነው። ከሰዎች ባህል፣ ከቴክኖሎጂ እና ከስሜት ጋር አብሮ በየሰከንዱ ይለዋወጣል።
ስኬታማ የሆኑ ባለራዕዮችን ከሽንፈት ማህደር ውስጥ ካሉ ተሸናፊዎች የሚለየው፤ የገነኑ የንግድ ኢምፓየሮችን ከከሰሩት የሚለየው ይሄው ወሳኝ ፊልድ ነው።
በአለም አቀፍ ደረጃ በትላልቅ ተቋማት የተሰሩ ምርጥ ስትራቴጂዎች እንዲሁም ታላላቅ መንግስታትን ያፈራረሱ ስህተቶች በሙሉ የተከሰቱት በዚህ ዘርፍ ውስጥ ነው።
..ይህ ነው እንግዲህ እኛ "ማርኬቲንግ" (Marketing) የምንለው ታላቅ ጥበብና ሳይንስ!

Do you ever have those days where 24 hours feels like 24 minutes?

I'm currently living in that phase.
The clock is clearly competing against me
At this point, I don't need motivation...
I need an upgrade. 😂
I wish I had:
4 hands to work on different things at once.
10 copies of me to attend meetings simultaneously.
2 brains running in parallel.
A Pause button for the world.
AI tools that multiply my productivity by 1000×.
And maybe an extra 12 hours added to every day. 😭

ከተለያዩ ዩኒቨርሲቲዎች እና ኮሌጆች ያለፉት ዓመታት የፍሬሽማን (Freshman) ኮርስ ፈተናዎችን እና ጥያቄዎችን ሰብስቦ፣ በየምዕራፉ በጥራት ማደራጀት የሚችል ጎበዝ ተማሪ እንፈልጋለን።

Marketing Lesson #1: People Don't Buy Products. They Buy Value.
Imagine it's 1876.
Alexander Graham Bell invents the telephone. To many people, it looked like nothing more than a wooden box connected by wires. Some businesses dismissed it because they couldn't see why anyone would need it.
But the real value was never the device itself.
But when a doctor realized they could call a hospital instantly to save a life, or
A business owner could close a deal in minutes instead of waiting weeks. Families could hear the voices of loved ones from miles away.
The telephone didn't become successful because of its features. It became successful because it solved important problems.
This is one of the most important principles in marketing:
Customers don't buy products.
Customers buy better outcomes.
They don't buy:
A phone; they buy connection.
A car; they buy convenience and freedom.
A mattress; they buy better sleep.
A course; they buy knowledge, confidence, and career opportunities.
Value is created when the benefit someone receives is far greater than the cost they pay.
Before you try to sell anything, ask yourself:
"What problem does this solve?"
If you can clearly answer that question, you're not just selling a product you are communicating value.
Every time you look at your smartphone today, you are looking at an evolution that started with a market problem in 1876.

#Momentum
Small, consistent actions create a powerful force that makes continued progress easier.
Momentum is the force you build by continuing to move forward.
A stationary car is hard to push at first.
Once it starts rolling, it becomes much easier to keep it moving.
The faster it moves, the harder it is to stop.
The same principle applies to life.
- The first day of studying is hard.
- The first week of going to the gym is hard.
- Getting your first customer is hard.
But after you keep going for days, weeks, or months, it becomes easier because you've built momentum.
Read 10 pages every day → Soon reading feels natural.
Post one video every day → Your audience starts growing.
Save a little money every month → Your wealth begins to compound.
Exercise consistently → Your body starts craving movement.
At first, discipline gets you started.
Then momentum keeps you going.
The hardest part is building enough momentum.

There is nothing more inspiring than seeing someone in their early 20s intentionally building the life they want.
Choosing hard work over comfort. Learning instead of wasting time. Fighting idleness, passivity, and the mindset that keeps people stuck. Investing in skills today for the life they want tomorrow.
Every skill they learn, every sacrifice they make, and every disciplined choice they take is an investment in their future.
They're engineering their own future.
Huge respect to every young person who's putting in the effort now. Your future self will thank you. Keep going. 👏

Luck is the idea of good or bad things happening by chance, especially when you can’t fully control the outcome. It can also mean a force or circumstances believed to bring fortune or misfortune. Merriam Webster Dictionary
Business leaders and entrepreneurs often define luck as preparedness meeting opportunity rather than pure random chance. Luck is not just coincidence; it often includes timing, market conditions, and access to the right people.
Many entrepreneurs think “creating your own luck” means putting yourself in situations where opportunities are more likely to appear.
Luck has been defined in many different ways across different fields. religion, psychology, economics, statistics, sports, philosophy, science...etc. Which perspective resonates with you the most, and why?

✅ If a tree falls on one car but not another, physics explains it through measurable variables:
Wind speed
Tree structure
Direction of fall
Timing
Position of the car
People may call it "bad luck," but physics sees it as the result of physical laws.😂
✅ Imagine identical twins.
One develops cancer.
The other never does.
Biologists explain this using
Random mutations
Environmental exposure
Genetic susceptibility
Lifestyle differences
Many people simply call it "luck."
✅ Imagine two equally talented entrepreneurs start identical businesses.
One launches just before an economic boom. The other launches just before a recession.
Their outcomes may differ dramatically despite having similar abilities.
Economists describe this as the influence of external random factors, not a mysterious force called luck.

Porter's Five Forces
የአንድን ኢንዱስትሪ ተወዳዳሪነት እና ትርፋማነት (competitiveness and profitability) ለመገምገም የሚረዳ በጣም ታዋቂ የንግድ ስትራቴጂ ፍሬምወርክ (business strategy framework) ነው።
ይህንን ሃሳብ እ.ኤ.አ በ 1979 ማይክል ፖርተር (Michael E. Porter) የተባለ የሃርቫርድ ቢዝነስ ስኩል ፕሮፌሰር ነው ያስተዋወቀው። ዋና አላማውም፡ "በማንኛውም ቢዝነስ ዙሪያ ያሉትን ተፅዕኖ ፈጣሪዎች በመተንተን፣ እንዴት አርፌ ትርፋማ መሆን እችላለሁ?" የሚለውን ለማወቅ ነው።
እነዚህን አምስት ኃይሎች (Five Forces) በዝርዝር እንያቸው፡
1. Threat of New Entrants (አዲስ ገበያ ገቢዎች ስጋት)
ይህ የሚያሳየው "አዳዲስ ተወዳዳሪዎች ወደ አንተ የንግድ ዘርፍ ለመግባት ምን ያህል ቀላል ወይም ከባድ ነው?" የሚለውን ነው።
- High Threat (ከፍተኛ ስጋት): አዲስ ቢዝነስ ለመክፈት ብዙ ካፒታል (capital)፣ እውቀት ወይም የመንግስት ፈቃድ የማይጠይቅ ከሆነ ስጋቱ ከፍተኛ ነው። ለምሳሌ፡ የካፌ ወይም የፎቶ ኮፒ ቤት ቢዝነስ። ማንም ተነሥቶ ሊከፍተው ስለሚችል ውድድሩ ይበረታል።
- Low Threat (ዝቅተኛ ስጋት): ገበያው ለመግባት በጣም ከባድ ከሆነ (High Barriers to Entry) ስጋቱ ዝቅተኛ ነው። ለምሳሌ፡ የኢንተርኔት አገልግሎት አቅራቢ (Telecom) ወይም የፋርማሲዩቲካል (Medicine manufacturing) ቢዝነስ ለመጀመር ከፍተኛ ቴክኖሎጂ እና ከባድ ፈቃድ ስለሚጠይቅ ማንም በቀላሉ አይገባበትም።
2. Bargaining Power of Buyers (የገዢዎች የመደራደር አቅም)
ይህ ኃይል "ደንበኞችህ ዋጋ ላይ ተፅዕኖ የማሳደር ወይም ዋጋ የመቀነስ አቅማቸው ምን ያህል ነው?" የሚለውን ይለካል።
- High Power (ከፍተኛ አቅም): ገዢዎች ጥቂት ሆነው፣ የሚመርጡት አማራጭ ግን ብዙ ሲሆን የመደራደር አቅማቸው ይጨምራል። "ዋጋ ካልቀነስክልኝ ሌላ ቦታ እሄዳለሁ" ለማለት አይፈሩም።
- Low Power (ዝቅተኛ አቅም): አንተ የምትሸጠውን እቃ የሚያቀርብ ሌላ ሰው ከሌለ ወይም ደንበኞችህ ተበታትነው ያሉ በቢሊዮን የሚቆጠሩ ግለሰቦች ከሆኑ አቅማቸው ዝቅተኛ ነው። የፈለግከውን ዋጋ ብትጠይቅ ለመግዛት ይገደዳሉ።
3. Bargaining Power of Suppliers (የአቅራቢዎች የመደራደር አቅም)
እቃዎችን ወይም ጥሬ ዕቃዎችን (raw materials) ለአንተ የሚያቀርቡልህ አካላት በአንተ ላይ ያላቸውን ተፅዕኖ ያሳያል።
- High Power (ከፍተኛ አቅም): ለአንተ የሚያስፈልገውን ጥሬ ዕቃ የሚያቀርቡት ድርጅቶች በጣም ጥቂት ከሆኑ፣ ዋጋ የመጨመር ወይም የጥራት የመቀነስ ሙሉ አቅም አላቸው። አንተም አማራጭ ስለሌለህ እሺ ለማለት ትገደዳለህ።
- Low Power (ዝቅተኛ አቅም): ጥሬ ዕቃ የሚያቀርቡልህ ብዙ ድርጅቶች ካሉ አቅማቸው ዝቅተኛ ነው። አንዱ ዋጋ ካናረብህ በቀላሉ ወደ ሌላው መቀየር (Low Switching Cost) ትችላለህ።
4. Threat of Substitute Products (የተለዋጭ ምርቶች ስጋት)
ይህ ከአንተ ቀጥተኛ ተወዳዳሪዎች ሳይሆን "ደንበኞችህ የአንተን ምርት ሙሉ በሙሉ ትተው በሌላ የተለየ መንገድ ፍላጎታቸውን ማሟላት ይችላሉ ወይ?" የሚለው ነው።
ምሳሌ: የባቡር ድርጅት ካለህ፣ ቀጥተኛ ተወዳዳሪህ ሌላ የባቡር ድርጅት ሊሆን ይችላል። ነገር ግን Substitute (ተለዋጭ) የሚባሉት አውሮፕላን፣ አውቶቡስ፣ ወይም ሰዎች በቪዲዮ ኮንፈረንስ (Zoom) መገናኘታቸው ነው።
ደንበኞች በቀላሉ እና በረካሽ ዋጋ ወደ ተለዋጭ ምርት መሄድ ከቻሉ፣ የአንተ ቢዝነስ ሁልጊዜ በስጋት ውስጥ ይወድቃል።
5. Competitive Rivalry (በነባር ተወዳዳሪዎች መካከል ያለው ውድድር)
ይህ በአሁኑ ሰዓት በገበያው ውስጥ ባሉ ቀጥተኛ ተወዳዳሪዎች (existing competitors) መካከል ያለውን የፉክክር ጥንካሬ ያሳያል። የሌሎቹ አራቱ ኃይሎች ጥምረት የዚህኛውን ውድድር ደረጃ ይወስነዋል።
ገበያ ውስጥ ብዙ ተመሳሳይ ድርጅቶች ካሉ፣ የዋጋ ጦርነት (price wars) እና የከረረ የማስታወቂያ ፉክክር ይኖራል። ይህ ደግሞ የሁሉንም ትርፋማነት (profit margin) ያጠባዋል።
ዋናው ቁምነገር የአንድ ኢንዱስትሪ አምስቱ ኃይሎች በጣም የበረቱ (Strong Forces) ከሆኑ፣ በዚያ የንግድ ዘርፍ ውስጥ ገብቶ ትርፋማ መሆን በጣም ፈታኝ ይሆናል። በተቃራኒው ኃይሎቹ ደካማ (Weak Forces) ከሆኑ፣ ከፍተኛ ትርፍ ለማግኘት (High Return on Investment) ምቹ አካባቢ ይፈጠራል። ቢዝነስ ስትጀምር ወይም ስትመራ እነዚህን አምስት ነጥቦች መተንተን የትኛው ቦታ ላይ ጥንቃቄ ማድረግ እንዳለብህ ትልቅ መረጃ ይሰጥሃል————————- @AdmasInsights ————————-

Some opportunities require prior preparation i.e readiness, skills, certificates, education, or even experience in related or sometimes unrelated areas. That’s why having a few things already in place increases your chances of getting more later.
That is how opportunity works. it doesn’t always come to those who are just willing, but often to those who are already prepared to some degree when it shows up.
So building yourself step by step matters, even when the path is not fully clear yet.
