| 8 |  Far from the eyes of the media, which the Israeli occupation prevents from approaching the areas it has occupied inside Gaza, Israeli heavy machinery is systematically crushing the rubble of thousands of destroyed homes across the Gaza Strip and transporting it to undisclosed locations, where it is recycled and later sold to Israeli construction companies, turning the remains of Palestinian homes into a source of economic profit for the Israeli occupation forces.
This is a systematic operation to erase forensic evidence of the genocide committed against Palestinians, steal their property, and violate the sanctity of the remains of martyrs who are still buried beneath the rubble.
Every time I am in Jabalia, northern Gaza, I personally witness Israeli trucks and excavators operating—particularly in eastern Jabalia—to crush the rubble and transport it far from its original locations.
These field observations are not limited to what my camera has documented. I have also found videos posted by Israeli soldiers on their social media accounts, showing one of them attempting to steal rubble from eastern Jabalia.
According to a joint assessment by the World Bank, the United Nations, and the European Union, released last April, the amount of rubble spread across the Gaza Strip was estimated at approximately 68 million tons, based on damage recorded through October 2025, without accounting for rubble generated by subsequent destruction.
In a related development, preliminary field data, according to the entity that reported these figures, indicates that at least 10 million tons of rubble have been removed, crushed, and transported away from their original locations in areas of the Gaza Strip under Israeli military control, behind the Yellow Line.

| 18 | A Fallacy in The Week of Unity
Response
1️⃣ Given that the Holy Quran prohibits insulting the sanctities of other religions and sects (even idols) (see Quran 6:108), it is necessary to refrain from insulting the sanctities of Sunni Muslims—who, according to numerous narrations, are considered Muslims. (See *Bihar al-Anwar*, 65/247). Today, "cursing" is perceived as a form of insult, while its original purpose—declaring disassociation from a person or a school of thought—is often overlooked.
2️⃣ Of course, maintaining ideological and intellectual boundaries is a constant principle (al-Tabarra'). However, disassociation from what contradicts Shia beliefs must be expressed without insult. In terms of conduct and social interaction, interacting with Sunnis is unproblematic and is emphasized in narrations. For instance, a narration states: "Whoever stands in the first row of congregational prayer behind a Sunni imam is as if he has prayed behind the Messenger of Allah in the first row." (*Wasail al-Shia*, 8/299). There are also narrations about visiting their sick, and so on.
3️⃣ Accordingly, it becomes clear that America and the Zionist regime do not qualify as "sanctities" that would be subject to the Quranic prohibition.
4️⃣ Moreover, the enmity of America and Israel toward us is not contingent upon these few words of slogans, such that abandoning them would solve the problem. Rather, they oppose our Islamic and revolutionary ideals. As long as we remain on this path, their enmity will persist.
As the Holy Quran states: *"And never will the Jews nor the Christians be pleased with you until you follow their religion"* (Quran 2:120). The Jews and Christians will never be pleased with you until you follow their creed.
