❗️Iranian authorities are finalizing major security and logistical arrangements ahead of a multi-day state funeral for Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, following his assassination in a US-Israeli attack on 28 February. Today, the late leader's casket arrived at the Imam Khomeini Grand Mosalla Complex, marking the start of a ceremonial procession that will span from 4 July to 9 July. Delegations from Lebanon, Yemen, and Palestine, alongside state officials from Russia, China, Pakistan, and Central Asia, have begun arriving in the capital under tight security protocols. Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has publicly called for a mass popular turnout for the processions, which are scheduled to move through Tehran and the theological hub of Qom, with a brief transfer to the Iraqi holy city of Najaf, before a final burial in Mashhad next Thursday.
