| 11 | What should we do now?
The attack on Iran had two main objectives:
1. Seizing Iran's oil resources—making it an Indonesia-like source of wealth for America.
2. Establishing Israeli-American dominance in the region.
The only way out of the current situation is for America to reach the certainty that neither of these objectives is attainable for now.
How?
1. Publish a list of Iran's targeted desalination and oil facilities in the region. In the event of another attack on Iran, these facilities must be destroyed in such a way that their reconstruction would take at least two years. Attacking Iran must not be normalized.
2. Make America understand that it will not gain any wealth from Iran's oil resources—on the contrary, it will face high oil prices for at least two years.
3. The correct way to ward off the shadow of war is through military deterrence. Limited destruction does not create the necessary deterrence. Trump views limited destruction of these facilities as a reconstruction project for American companies. But widespread destruction would keep global oil and gas prices high for at least two years and create the necessary deterrence. Alternative routes to the Strait of Hormuz should be prioritized among Iran's targets. If the Americans know Iran will truly respond in this manner, they will not attack Iran.
4. Experience has shown that concessions and negotiations do not dispel the shadow of war. As the martyred Leader said, "America wants to swallow Iran." This means no amount of concession, however large, will ever be enough for them. In the past four months, we have seen no evidence to disprove this analysis.
5. In principle, the country's top priority should be to break the cycle of attack, ceasefire, negotiation, and attack again. Unfortunately, partway through, the path was diverted toward receiving American GMO soybeans.
6. Please close the Strait of Hormuz for at least two months—truly close it. America has not yet paid the necessary economic cost for attacking Iran. If the cost of attacking Iran remains bearable, that means another major attack is coming. For the first 46 years of the Islamic Revolution, Iran was not militarily attacked because America estimated the cost of attacking Iran to be high. America's calculations must return to that state. Officials have said that over the past months, all of Iran's offshore oil and more has been sold at high prices and the funds received. The country has enough money to cover its expenses for the next two months.
7. Please do not keep the country waiting on the illusion of long-term sanctions relief or $300 billion in investment.
8. Please do not forget to collect tolls after the limited reopening of the Strait of Hormuz. If Iran does not collect tolls in the Strait of Hormuz, the United States and British insurance companies will. A few days ago, Trump said, "The Strait of Hormuz is a money-printing machine." Now he wants to take a 20% cut.
International estimates of the Strait of Hormuz's revenue-generating capacity:
· Reuters: $110 billion
· Oxford Press think tank: $80 billion
· J.P. Morgan (the largest financial services and banking firm in the U.S.): between $70 and $90 billion—that is, twice Iran's oil sales.
Collecting tolls does not violate any international law. Iran is not a party to the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea. Iran's collection of standard tolls will not isolate it in the world.

The Iranian Parliament issued a stern declaration on 14 July, signed by 180 lawmakers, formally announcing the collapse of all understandings with the US. The legislative body stated that the era of diplomatic restraint has concluded, affirming that the state will pursue decisive retribution for the assassination of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
In the statement, lawmakers pressured the heads of the three branches of government to adopt a "revolutionary stance" in line with this shift in foreign policy. The parliament further demanded the immediate establishment of a special commission tasked with scrutinizing past negotiations and ensuring strict adherence to the conditions set forth by the Supreme Leader.
A central element of this new policy trajectory is the assertion of sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz. The legislature confirmed that it has officially placed the "management of the Strait of Hormuz" on its agenda.
