Myanmar Traditional Velvet Slippers are a classic type of footwear that is highly prominent in Myanmar's traditional culture. Originated primarily in Mandalay, they have been worn throughout different eras. The upper surface and straps of the slippers are covered and stitched with soft, glossy velvet fabric. They are designed as thong sandals worn by gripping the strap between the big toe and the second toe. While leather or wood was used for the soles in the past, durable and lightweight rubber or sponge materials are used nowadays.

Tohu Nway is a warm, silky tofu puree that is kept heated continuously in a pot before it solidifies into tofu. It is available at most Shan restaurants, as well as at breakfast stalls and night market vendors. These vendors commonly serve Tohu Nway alongside fried tofu, tofu salad, and Shan noodles.

The Salon people, also known as the Moken or Sea Gypsies, are an Austronesian ethnic group who live on the islands of the Myeik (Mergui) Archipelago in the southern part of Myanmar's Tanintharyi Region, particularly around Myeik and Kawthaung. Proclaiming the Royal Decree on the Commencement of Thingyan
On the morning of the first day of Thingyan, the Yadanabon-era tradition of beating a ceremonial gong and reading the royal decree is re-enacted. The picture shows the Than-daw-sin reading the decree, accompanied by a ceremonial entourage: two Thaing bearers, a sacred vase bearer, royal pages, drummers, and gong-beaters. Historically, Thaing-bearers were royal officials who cleared paths for royal processions.

This monastery took 18 years to build. In 1892, some British soldiers pried away the Maha Sein Daw (the royal diamond embedded in the forehead of the Buddha image) and set the great monastery on fire.

In March 1896, funded by public donations, the Irrawaddy Flotilla Company undertook the reconstruction of the bell's brick pillars and wooden beams, which had been destroyed by an earthquake, replacing them with iron pillars and beams.

Neatby there are four standing buddhas that are with different mudras facing to cardinal directing. Shwetheindaw Pagoda before Kyaukse is also interesting to study about your future wishes to fulfiled pagoda that is also built by same king from Bagan. | 17 |  Main Ma Ye Mountain is located in Min Tine Pin Village, Ywangan Township, Danu Self-Administered Zone, Southern Shan State. Main Ma Ye Mountain stands at an elevation of over 600 feet. It's a prominent mountain, has many small graceful pagodas at the top of the mountain and the view from the top is astonishing.

| 18 |  +3Chinthe (Burmese: ခြင်္သေ့) is the Burmese word for 'lion'. The leograph of Chinthe is a highly stylized lion commonly depicted in Burmese iconography and architecture, especially as a pair of guardians flanking the entrances of Buddhist pagodas and kyaung (or Buddhist monasteries).
