Before any thought appears
there is already something here.
Not an idea.
Not a belief.
Just the simple fact of being.
This is the quiet meaning
of 'I Am'.
But the mind quickly adds a step:
“I am this person.”
With that addition
a center seems to form—
an owner of experience.
Look closer.
When attention returns
to the raw sense of being itself
something subtle happens.
The owner weakens.
The personal center loosens.
Yet nothing essential disappears.
Being remains.
Clear.
Present.
Unclaimed.
And in that seeing
something becomes obvious:
Existence is not possessed
by a person.
The person appears
within existence.
“I Am” therefore
does not belong to anyone.
It is simply the fact
