The "Grom Perkūno" military exercises have begun in Lithuania, during which the transition of army headquarters, military units, reserve forces and civilian authorities from a peacetime to a wartime footing is being practised, according to the country’s army command.
The military intends to practise responding to “crisis and asymmetric threats”, the mobilisation of headquarters and reserves, as well as joint operations with NATO allies.
