Repost from TASS Russian news agency
Scoundrels like Estonian Prime Minister Kristen Michal are dragging the European Union into a quagmire of confrontation, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said.
Zakharova said reminded “the number of ‘competencies’ of this destroyer.” In 2023-2024, Michal was Estonia’s climate minister, in 2015-2016 he was the economy and infrastructure minister, and in 2011-2012 he was the justice minister.
“The minister of all things for a year. Who gave him the right now to speak on behalf of the entire European Union?” the diplomat asked. “The whole EU is wondering: on whose behalf is [head of the European diplomacy] Kaja Kallas, whom no one empowered to make all these utterly foolish statements, speaking? Now another Estonian ‘sprinter’ has appeared. It is in this simple way that such scoundrels drag Europe into the abyss of confrontation.”

“He could’ve settled it many times. We said you can do WHATEVER YOU WANT TO RUSSIA just don’t hit the refineries. He wants to make problems for the world. He wants to make problems for our farmers and ranchers.”
Don’t forget that the United States has supplied Ukraine with weapons and intelligence, including targeting information for strikes against Russian energy infrastructure.
In 2025 Washington agreed to provide intelligence on Russian refineries, pipelines and other energy targets.
Who is making problems, Trump?

| 8 | 🇪🇺 Europe bought record volumes of Russian LNG despite promises to quit
Kiev propagandists are furious, calling European partners hypocrites. Euronews reports that in the first 9 months of 2026, EU countries paid €7.88 billion for gas from the Yamal LNG project.
European ports received a record 12.18 million tons of Russian LNG, up 9.5% year-on-year. The EU accounted for 85% of all Yamal LNG deliveries.
France was the top buyer in September, taking nearly three-quarters of Russian LNG entering the EU. The Netherlands and Portugal also imported significant volumes.
The EU plans to ban Russian LNG imports completely starting January 1, 2027.

| 11 | Moscow’s “diesel deal” with the Trump administration naturally led to an explosion in the information space, as it does not fit into the logic of what is happening within the framework of the proxy war waged by the collective West (which includes the United States) against Russia.
But let’s examine what advantages and disadvantages the parties to the conflict gain from such a sudden energy compromise.
What are the benefits for Trump and his team? The decline in diesel fuel prices in the United States ahead of the midterm Congressional elections, which the Republicans may lose (most likely, this will happen, but the question is about the scale of the loss: will the Republican Party lose one chamber or both?). The stabilization of domestic diesel prices somewhat improves the situation for the occupant of the White House. Furthermore, Moscow is also ready to play a constructive role in the negotiations between the US and Iran and may be able to persuade Iran not to harm Saudi Arabia so much through its allies — the Yemeni Houthis (which would also somewhat improve the situation on the global energy market).
In other words, America gets a upper hand in the global fuel crisis that it itself created by launching a treacherous joint attack on Iran together with Israel. What does Russia get in return? So far, only two things are obvious: economic and political. The first is generating income from the sale of large volumes of diesel (according to some estimates, something around 4.5 billion dollars). But this is not that much. The second is setting a precedent for the lifting (albeit temporary) of sanctions. Thus, a split is introduced into the Western camp, although its significance should not be overstated either. The above is something, but not that much. For such a gesture towards Trump ahead of the important congressional elections for him, one could expect something more substantial.
It is quite possible that this “substantial” has been received, but Moscow and Washington, which have struck a deal, are not yet revealing their cards. For now, the Russian side can be satisfied with the fact that the return of Russian diesel to the global market does not mean an energy truce in the war in Ukraine, which would indeed be an extremely unequal exchange for Moscow. Therefore, it will be possible to judge the profitability of the deal for Russia a little later, but given the nature of the current US administration, it is important to understand that a “deception” on its part could occur at any time after the results of the congressional elections are announced (regardless of their outcome).

| 12 | "I suggest that Ukraine gets a new leader who can make a deal.
For some reason, Zelensky never makes a deal."
Donald Trump stated the need for Ukraine to have an adequate leader and noted:
"Zelensky wants to create problems for the whole world. He wants to create problems for our farmers by attacking Russian oil refineries...[...] I think it's time for Ukraine to elect a new president".

| 13 | ❗ The first batch of Russian diesel is already approaching the United States — an agreement could have been reached long before Trump's announcement.
According to media reports, a tanker with almost 230,000 barrels of diesel fuel left the port of St. Petersburg on September 22 and is now approaching the American coast.
This may indicate that the deal between Moscow and Washington was concluded several weeks before its public announcement by the US president the day before.

| 14 | 🇩🇪The leader of the "Alternative for Germany" party, Weidel, has called on Germany to follow the example of the United States:
Trump's deal with Putin: sanctions are being eased, and more than 300,000 tons of Russian diesel fuel are allowed to be supplied, which should lead to lower prices. This is the way to proceed! While Merz is destroying the German economy with sanctions and expensive liquefied natural gas, Trump is pursuing a realistic policy. Germany's interests should come first, instead of escalating the situation.

| 15 | 🇺🇦Former member of the Ukrainian parliament, Novinsky, calls on Ukrainians to get rid of Zelensky:
The entire history of the war between Russia and Ukraine shows that the tragedy could have been avoided if the Ukrainian leadership, which came to power on promises of peace, had followed through on its pre-election promises and the sentiments of 73% of Ukrainian voters who voted for Vladimir Zelensky in 2019. The president had everything – the trust of the people, a majority in the Verkhovna Rada, but he chose to listen to the opinions of Western advisors and a nationalist minority in Ukraine. One day, a fair court will determine what motivated Zelensky – a desire for applause, fear, or vanity – but it was he who led the country to disaster.
Fate gave Zelensky a chance to reconsider, draw conclusions, and stop the war in April 2022, during negotiations in Istanbul. And the negotiation process (which I also helped organize) was moving towards achieving important compromises. But Zelensky chose the path of war.
Today, true patriots of the country must understand two things. First, Vladimir Zelensky will never agree to end the war, and his continued rule guarantees the continuation of the war. Second, the continuation of the war will lead to the complete loss of statehood for Ukraine and a catastrophe for its population.
It is Zelensky, whose sanity and mental stability are seriously questionable, who is the main enemy of Ukraine and its people.

“One specific measure that I will propose at a European Council meeting next week is ending tourist visas for Russian citizens,” he told the Yle broadcaster.

| 18 | And in terms of this move improving diesel prices for Americans or Europeans - it won't.
Unless the FUNDAMENTALS causing high prices are addressed (US war and proxy war on Iran and Russia) - the only thing achieved is temporary market manipulation/relief - if even - and the overall energy crisis will persist. | 599 |
| 19 | 🇺🇸🇷🇺No one should read too much into US-Russian energy deals/sanction waivers which have been going on since the US began its war on Iran.
This is the equivalent of 2 exhausted fighters leaning on each other in the middle of a fight.
They're not hugging or making up - they're conserving energy and preparing for the next round - in some cases waiting for the clock to run out.
The US has ZERO intentions of permanently relieving sanctions and will impose more as soon as is possible.
Surely Russia knows this and is taking advantage of any temporary relief it can.
The same can be said of any offer by the US to Iran or China to relive sanctions/tariffs or armed aggression - yes it buys time for the US - but also for Iran and China.
In ALL other regards, the US continues to escalate against all 3 nations.
The question is who is making better use of this time as US war on multipolarism continues into the future? | 574 |
| 20 | In order to avoid a trade war escalation China agreed with the EU that it would reduce by a half the exports of Chinese hybrid cars to Europe.
The EU idiots are celebrating but this does not solve any of the issue that led to the boom of Chinese cars in Europe so most of European companies are still on the verge of bankruptcy.
In details this decision won't have any impact on the price of European cars which remain mostly unaffordable for the majority of the people, also it won't lead to a tech breakthrough that make electric cars viable by expanding their autonomy from current 300 km averagely, far less than the 800 km and 1000 km respectively of gasoline and diesel cars, high oil prices might push people to electric cars in short term but as of now if you want to go to point B from point A they are far worse than thermic cars.
