High prolactin (hyperprolactinemia) is a hormonal imbalance often caused by benign pituitary tumors (prolactinomas), medications like antipsychotics, or an underactive thyroid. It causes infertility, irregular periods, and breast milk discharge in women, and low libido or erectile dysfunction in men. Prolactin, produced by the pituitary gland, stimulates milk production after childbirth. While high levels are normal during pregnancy, persistent elevation requires medical investigation. Common causes include: - Prolactinomas: Noncancerous pituitary tumors oversecreting prolactin. - Medications: Drugs affecting dopamine (which suppresses prolactin), including antidepressants, antipsychotics, and some blood pressure meds. - Medical Conditions: Hypothyroidism, chronic kidney disease, or PCOS. - Physiological Factors: High stress, strenuous exercise, sleep, or diet causing temporary minor increases.

High prolactin quietly blocks conception, often unnoticed. This hormone produces milk after childbirth. Outside pregnancy or breastfeeding, excess prolactin disrupts the cycle. Elevated levels can stop ovulation, cause irregular or missing periods, and confuse brain-to-ovary signals. Without regular ovulation, natural conception chances drop. This explains why high prolactin causes pregnancy delays without clear symptoms. High prolactin is manageable once detected. Causes include stress, thyroid issues, or benign pituitary growths. Regardless of cause, identifying it allows steps to restore balance. If trying to conceive with cycle issues, speak to a healthcare provider about checking prolactin levels. Understanding hormones empowers your fertility journey. You are not alone; solutions exist.

This Four (4) things can damage your fertility if u don't avoid them 1. Ignoring irregular periods – Skipping or unpredictable cycles can signal hormonal imbalances affecting ovulation. 2. High sugar & processed foods – Spikes in blood sugar and insulin can reduce egg quality and cause PCOS flare-ups. 3. Stress overload – Chronic stress steals progesterone, disrupting ovulation and luteal phase. 4. Toxin exposure – Excess alcohol, smoking, plastics (BPA), and chemicals can damage eggs and hormone balance.

HIGH PROGESTERONE IS LESS COMMON, BUT IT CAN STILL AFFECT HORMONE BALANCE. ⚠️ Progesterone is important for ovulation, implantation, and pregnancy support. But when progesterone becomes unusually high outside pregnancy or medication use, it may point to an underlying hormonal issue that should not be ignored. In pregnancy, progesterone naturally rises and this is healthy. But in non-pregnant women, persistently elevated progesterone may sometimes be linked to hormone medications, ovarian cysts, adrenal conditions, or cycle irregularities. Possible symptoms of high progesterone: ⚠️ Bloating ⚠️ Breast tenderness ⚠️ Fatigue or excessive sleepiness ⚠️ Mood changes or anxiety ⚠️ Dizziness ⚠️ Headaches ⚠️ Low libido ⚠️ Irregular bleeding in some cases Possible causes: 🩺 Pregnancy 💊 Progesterone supplements or fertility medications 🟡 Ovarian cysts 🧠 Adrenal gland imbalance ⚖️ Hormonal disorders in some cases Tests that may help: 🧪 Serum progesterone blood test 🧪 Pregnancy test 🧪 Pelvic ultrasound 🧪 Adrenal and thyroid hormone testing when necessary Ways to support hormone balance: 🥬 Eat balanced whole foods 💧 Stay hydrated 😴 Prioritise quality sleep 🏃 Maintain healthy movement 🧘 Reduce chronic stress ⚖️ Avoid unnecessary hormone self-medication Foods that support overall hormone health: 🥑 Avocado 🥚 Eggs 🥬 Leafy greens 🐟 Omega-3-rich fish 🫐 Berries 🥜 Nuts and seeds. So if you see high progesterone on a test, do not jump to conclusions. It might mean ovulation happened successfully, it might mean your body is responding to treatment, or it could mean pregnancy. The full picture matters, not just one number.

Progesterone Myths – Myth 1: Progesterone only matters during pregnancy. Many people hear the word progesterone and immediately think of pregnancy. They believe it only becomes important once a woman conceives. But the truth is, progesterone is needed every single month, whether you are pregnant or not. Progesterone is produced after ovulation and plays a key role in balancing the menstrual cycle. It prepares the lining of the womb, calms the body, and helps keep estrogen from running wild. Without enough progesterone, cycles can become irregular, periods can become heavy, and PMS symptoms can worsen. Even outside fertility, progesterone has powerful effects. It supports sleep, calms the nervous system, helps the thyroid work properly, and even keeps bones strong. That is why women often describe progesterone as the hormone of peace and rest. So do not let anyone tell you progesterone only matters during pregnancy. It matters in every stage of a woman’s life, every single month. ⸻ Myth 2: Low progesterone means you will never have children. This myth has broken so many hearts. Women have sat in front of doctors or read test results that said “low progesterone” and immediately believed their dream of motherhood was gone. But the truth is, low progesterone does not mean the end of the road. Yes, progesterone is vital for early pregnancy because it supports implantation and helps the womb nurture a baby. But there are many ways to manage and support low progesterone. Doctors may prescribe progesterone supplements, while lifestyle choices like managing stress, eating nourishing foods, maintaining a healthy weight, and getting quality sleep can also improve levels naturally. I have seen women with very low progesterone go on to conceive and carry healthy babies. The body has an amazing way of healing when given the right support. Low progesterone is a challenge, but it is not the final word. ⸻ Myth 3: Progesterone only affects the womb. It is easy to think progesterone’s only job is in the womb, but this hormone has much wider influence. Progesterone is sometimes called the body’s natural calming agent. It helps with sleep, reduces anxiety, and gives a sense of emotional balance. Have you ever noticed that before your period, you might feel more anxious, restless, or even struggle to sleep? That is often because progesterone has dropped. This hormone interacts with the brain, calming the nervous system, almost like a natural relaxer. It also plays a role in bone health and thyroid function. That is why long-term low progesterone can leave a woman feeling not only emotionally unsettled but also physically drained. So when you think of progesterone, do not just picture the womb. Picture your whole body, your peace of mind, and your sense of wellbeing. ⸻ Myth 4: Progesterone levels stay the same all the time. Some people believe hormone levels are fixed numbers that never change. But in reality, progesterone rises and falls across the menstrual cycle. It is low in the first half of the cycle, then rises after ovulation during the luteal phase. This rise is crucial for preparing the womb for possible pregnancy. If pregnancy does not occur, progesterone drops again, and menstruation begins. This beautiful rise and fall is part of what makes the cycle function properly. That is why testing matters. Checking progesterone at the wrong time in the cycle can make it look like levels are low, when in fact, they are perfectly normal. It is not about one number forever. It is about the timing and pattern. ⸻ Myth 5: High progesterone always means pregnancy. Progesterone does rise in pregnancy, but that does not mean every time progesterone is high, you are pregnant. It can also rise naturally after ovulation, even in cycles where pregnancy does not happen. Certain ovarian cysts, medications, or hormone treatments can also cause progesterone to increase. This is why doctors never rely on progesterone alone to confirm pregnancy. They always combine it with other tests for accuracy.

Progesterone and the Menstrual Cycle Progesterone regulates the menstrual cycle. 1. Low Levels Before Ovulation Before ovulation, progesterone is low while estrogen builds the uterine lining. Women often feel energetic during this phase. 2. Sharp Rise After Ovulation Post-ovulation, progesterone spikes to thicken the uterine lining for potential pregnancy. This often induces calmness, grounding, or sleepiness. 3. If Pregnancy Does Not Happen Without pregnancy, progesterone drops, triggering the shedding of the uterine lining (menstruation) and resetting the cycle. 4. Why This Rhythm Matters Balanced progesterone ensures regular cycles, smoother flow, and stable moods. Imbalances can cause irregular cycles, heavy bleeding, mood swings, or conception difficulties. 5. The Quiet Conductor Like an orchestra conductor, progesterone works quietly to synchronize the cycle. Without it, the body loses rhythm; with it, the cycle functions properly.

The Role of Progesterone After Miscarriage One hormone that plays a major role in pregnancy and after miscarriage is progesterone. Many women do not know how important it is until they face challenges. Progesterone is often called the “pregnancy hormone” because it supports the womb, nurtures the lining, and keeps things stable for implantation and growth. When a miscarriage happens, progesterone levels suddenly drop, and this can affect the cycle for weeks or even months. Low progesterone after a miscarriage can make periods irregular, can delay ovulation, and may even cause spotting that looks confusing. It can also affect mood and emotions, leaving some women feeling unusually low. But there is hope. Through nutrition rich in seeds, herbs that support balance, and lifestyle changes that encourage natural hormone regulation, progesterone can be restored. It is very important to allow your body the time it needs to rebuild. Be patient with yourself, and remember that every step of healing counts. When you take care of your body from within, you are also preparing your womb for the miracle you long for. Moretti Joy cares ♥️

High Progesterone Levels – What They Mean for the Body When people hear about progesterone, they usually think of it being too low, especially when it comes to fertility struggles. But what about when progesterone is high? Just like every other hormone in the body, too much of it also carries meaning. In most cases, high progesterone is not something to worry about. It naturally happens during pregnancy, when the body needs extra support to protect the baby and maintain the womb. This rise is part of the body’s beautiful design to sustain life. However, when progesterone levels are high outside of pregnancy, it can point to other things. Sometimes ovarian cysts, adrenal gland problems, or even certain medical treatments can push levels higher than expected. For some women, this might come with symptoms like bloating, breast tenderness, fatigue, or mood changes. It is important to remember that hormone levels shift at different times of the cycle, and they also change as women move through different life stages. A temporary rise is not always a red flag. What matters is noticing patterns. If unusual symptoms keep showing up or feel disruptive, that is the body’s way of asking for attention. Hormones are the body’s messengers. High progesterone is not about something being “wrong” immediately, but about the body sending signals that deserve to be listened to. With the right medical checks, balance can often be restored, and peace of mind regained.

RECIPE FOR BLOCKED FALLOPIAN TUBE Recipe for UnBlockage of the tube Recipe. Clove 1 whole garlic Ginger Bayleaf Lime White vinegar Procedure Add 1 tablespoon of the clove into your jug or bottle depends on the one you're using. add garlic (fresh garlic 🧄)one whole. Peal off the back of the garlic and add it inside your jug ( 1garlic) . Men can also take it especially men with infection rather he's not going to take it long like a woman having tube blockage. So after adding the garlic, add ginger. remove the skin and cut it into five slices , put inside the jug. Next is the lime (not lemon) with the lime, do not peel off the back. Cut the lime into five parts and add them all inside your jug. Then add bay leaf to the mixture(either dry one or fresh one) you'll need to add just three to four bay leaf . Then you need to add small amount of water into it about 1 litre of water before adding your white vinegar.( 1/2 tablespoon) Adding the water to be half of the jug will be okay. NOTE : You don't need to be drinking this with a cup but instead a shot cup, the one our men use for whiskey. You can also use your coffee cup . White vinegar is available in the supermarket for those asking where it can be found. After you’ve added everything together. you need to soak it for 24hours in the fridge not outside. The reason is when left outside it can get sour , so don’t do that. if you don’t have a fridge , then boil the recipe daily for 3-5 minutes, allow to cook and drink. Just know that you will make a new one daily . After 24hours you start taking it one shot per day. And you need to take it maximum of one week before making another and generally to be used for 2 weeks .If you have had this tube blockage for a very long time , Remember tube can also get blocked by bl00d. Bl00d that did not shed out after miscarriage ,do this recipe. It’s not only infection that’s blocks the womb. That's why I tell women that had miscarriage,no matter how many months it is ,go to the hospital for them to flush it out because if it stays there it'll start forming it owns clots . If you have (hydrosalpinx) take this one to two weeks and then you'll see how it is. Remember to use it before your menstruation. Now coming to the onion recipe. In some places it's called brown Onion, yellow onion or white onion. For the recipe all you need is the onion and it's going to be done after your menstruation. After doing the first recipe that’s supposed to be before your menstruation , The minute you finish your monthly flow ,you need to start this recipe everyday for 15days. How do you do it? Put about one cup or one and half cup of water on fire, Your water shouldn't be much because this onion within five minutes you'll start seeing the juice extracting. next cut the Onion. First remove the Layer, Then cut it into four parts(like a cross) ,put it inside your water then allow it to boil. Remember to cover it and boil . You don't need the onion after boiling it because you already extract the juice, all you need now is the water. This water also helps to boost ovulation. Bring the recipe to boil on low heat, until you notice the colour of the water had changed. As long as its brown onion , it will brings out this lemon yellowish colour in it. Make sure it boils very well. When it's done , allow to cool and drink .Take one glass cup everyday and don't miss a day. Most preferable in the morning before food. During your menstruation you might find out there this thick clœt coming out mixed with periods blood ,it's nothing to worry about. Some of this clœt makes you bloated. It makes your stomach big and the moment it comes out you feel free. Use the first recipe to flush yourself and the second recipe to free yourself from whatever fluid it is. First recipe, before period for 15days Second recipe,Onion recipe)after period for 15days. if you are a nursing mother you can't take this because what you're doing is like flushing your body,so you don't want to take this while breast feeding.
