Tasnim News Agency has published a full statement by the IRGC Navy, where they falsely claim to have targeted several locations hosting U.S. forces in West Asia.
Following the Israeli regime’s violation of the ceasefire in southern Lebanon, the treaty-breaking United States—acting as it has in the past—also violated its commitments a few hours ago. Under various pretexts, including the passage of a vessel alleged to have violated regulations by using an unauthorized route through the Strait of Hormuz, it carried out an airstrike against the shores of the Islamic Republic of Iran. In response to this aggression, the Navy of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps targeted locations where the U.S. terrorist military is stationed in the region. Under Article 5 of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding, arrangements for regulating transit through the Strait of Hormuz are to be coordinated with the Islamic Republic of Iran. However, the United States sought to violate this commitment through various provocations and has now received the appropriate response. The same will occur in the future.
