I am having second thoughts on the legitimacy of that chart above when it comes to my Siamese Miss Mickey Blue Eyes.😁

| 4 | I recently heard someone say that this life on earth is the only place we will ever get to worship God in the middle of a storm.
And I haven’t stopped thinking about it.
Because one day there will be no storms. No grief. No fear. No anxiety. No unanswered prayers. No wondering where God is.
We will be with Him.
We will see Him.
But here, we don’t always see Him.
Here, sometimes we worship while our hearts are breaking. Sometimes we say, “God, I trust you,” while every feeling inside of us is screaming that we shouldn’t.
Sometimes we search for Him in the storm because, if we’re honest He feels incredibly hard to find.
And I don’t think that means our faith is failing. I think there is something incredibly sacred about choosing Him there.
No one wants the storm.
I don’t think we need to romanticize suffering or pretend we are thankful for things that have broken our hearts.
But maybe there is something available to us inside of these places that we will never get to experience again.
Because someday, there will be no need to trust God in spite of what we see.
Faith will become sight.
Someday, I will worship God without fear.
But today, I get to worship Him while I’m afraid.
Someday, I will worship Him without grief.
Today, I get to worship Him with tears in my eyes.
Someday, I will know completely that He is near.
Today, I get to reach for Him when he feels far away.
Someday, faith will become sight.
Today, I get to believe before I can see.
And maybe there is something uniquely precious about that kind of worship because it cost us something.
Hebrews calls it a “sacrifice of praise.”
Sometimes worship really is a sacrifice.
Sometimes we are saying God is good when we don’t understand what He is doing.
We are choosing to trust His character when we cannot see His plan.
We are reaching toward Him while some part of us still wants to pull away.
Peter wrote something that feels especially beautiful to me when I think about this:
“Though you have not seen him you love him.”
1 Peter 1:8
That’s us. We haven’t seen Him. And yet, we love Him.
We pray to Someone our eyes have never looked upon. We trust promises we have not yet seen completely fulfilled.
We believe before we see.
But one day we will see.
There will be no searching for Jesus in the storm because there won’t be a storm anymore.
There will be no clinging to Him in the darkness, because there won’t be any darkness left.
So while I would never wish for the hard things, I also don’t want to miss what is possible inside of them.
I want to know what it is to worship a God I cannot see.
To trust Him when I don’t understand.
To reach for Him when my heart is broken.
To love Him before I ever seen His face.
Because I will have all of eternity to worship God in the light.
But I only have this life to worship Him in the storm

| 7 | Testimony Tuesday
I want to share something that never occurred to me before in my faith as I walk with the Lord on earth. Or at least something I never really thought much about.
Today’s video just hit differently for me.
I came across this testimony of this woman who shares another woman’s reflection stating that earthly life is the only chance to worship God through pain and uncertainty, calling it a sacred sacrifice of praise before faith becomes sight.
Mind blown!
How many of us have thought or considered this before?
Here we are on earth.
We know, love and believe in Jesus.
We have a relationship with Him.
We trust in Him.
We have faith in Him.
He is our Savior.
And yet we’ve never seen Him, but we still pray, praise and worship in the midst of life’s most horrific storms and uncertainty that life throws at us.
Consider this; once we our home with Jesus, our worship and praise will be different.
No storms, no pain, no tears of heartbreak.
He will be in front of us.
We will see Him!
And yet we will worship Him with such awesome glory.
I look at my worship and praise differently now.
What an honor to worship our Lord in the midst of our storms.
These next two verses seem to bring a better understanding to me now.
I Peter 1:6-9
“In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ, whom having not seen you love.
Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, receiving the end of your faith—the salvation of your souls.”
Hebrews 13:15
“Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.”
God is glorified when we worship and praise Him in the storms of life.
How sacred and precious this is to Him!
There will be no need for faith in heaven, and my guess is that there will be no need for prayer in heaven because we will be face to face with our Lord.
Only celebration, glory and honor to our King of kings, Lord of lords, our Savior Jesus Christ who is worthy of our praise!
I don’t know about you but my heart felt at home in these words.
Amen!
Blessings,
—Paula

Sometimes God will ask you to do something that makes absolutely no sense.
And your willingness to say yes anyway will change everything.
Perhaps the change will affect you or someone else, or a situation.
Sometimes, obedience is not comfortable or logical. And it usually never comes with an explanation.
Obedience does not require understanding to act.
And yet, sometimes obedience does require preparation in the midst of not even knowing how or why.
Obedience will open doors that experience never will.
God will often test your obedience.
He asks you to give something up, or do something with no explanation.
He may call you somewhere that terrifies you.
But you go anyway.
You do anyway.
You make the decision to obey the voice of the Lord.
He asks you to choose faith over every logical reason not to.
He asks you to stop asking why and start asking what.
“What do you need from me Lord?”
“What are some areas in my life where I need to bring before you?”
“What are those things I should let go of in this season?”
It is futile to try and figure it out on your own.
God’s purposes are beyond our understanding.
You may not even fully understand or know the reasons right away, or until even decades later.
But this we know, obedience requires faith in God who can do the impossible.
It requires trusting even when we’re not guaranteed an explanation or for see any possible outcome.
That is what faith is all about!
And where does faith come from?
Well, according to Romans 10:17 So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
The more you stay in the Word the louder that voice gets.
Learning to trust it over everything else is one of the most important things God will ever teach you.
Blessings,
—Paula

| 14 | I used to wonder why I cried every time I worshipped.
Nothing was wrong.
I wasn’t sad.
Sometimes I’d walk into church completely fine, the music would start, and suddenly tears were streaming down my face.
I thought, Why am I so emotional? 😭
But the closer I’ve gotten to God, the more I understand…
Sometimes your soul recognizes His presence before your mind can even put words to what you’re feeling.
Those tears aren’t always sadness.
Sometimes they’re surrender.
Sometimes they’re relief.
Sometimes they’re healing.
Sometimes they’re gratitude.
Sometimes it’s the weight you’ve been carrying finally falling at His feet.
There are moments during worship when I don’t even have a prayer.
I just cry.
Because when you’ve been through seasons where God was the ONLY reason you made it through, worship hits differently.
So if you’re the person crying during worship while everyone else seems perfectly fine…
Let the tears fall.
You don’t have to explain what happens in your heart when you’re in the presence of the One who knows every part of it. 🤍 | 172 |

| 19 | WAR ROOM PRAYER (Legal Decree in the Courts of Heaven):
Father, in the name of Jesus, I secure my household under divine authority.
Every spirit not sent by God — I give you notice. You are trespassing.
I cover every room, every door, every bed, and every conversation with the Blood of Jesus.
I cancel demonic assignments of confusion, fear, addiction, perversion, torment, rebellion, and division.
No spirit of strife, no whisper of shame, no agent of chaos will dwell here.
I declare this home is holy ground. I forbid familiar spirits and generational bondage from continuing through my children.
My house will not host what Heaven hasn’t approved.
I call angels to stand guard at every threshold. I invite the Spirit of God to dwell richly in this place.
I speak peace, wisdom, clarity, and breakthrough in every corner.
In Jesus’ name, amen. | 187 |

"I release peace that crushes chaos.
I declare the blood of Jesus over the doors, the windows, the beds, and the minds in this home.
No demon can cross what is sealed by covenant."
“No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord.”
