| 2 | āBecause the sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil. Though a sinner does evil a hundred times, and his days are prolonged, yet I surely know that it will be well with those who fear God, who fear before Him. But it will not be well with the wicked; nor will he prolong his days, which are as a shadow, because he does not fear before God.ā

| 5 | šØ EVERYBODY IS TALKING ABOUT āTHE GRIDā⦠BUT THEREāS ANOTHER GRID WE BETTER BE WATCHING.
While America is debating power grids, technology, politics, money, and what happens if systems go downā¦
There is another freedom many Christians barely think about:
THE FREEDOM TO PUBLICLY SAY THE NAME OF JESUS.
Today, Open Doors reported that Pastor BāKun, the leader of a small unregistered house church in Vietnam, was sentenced to 7½ years in prison, followed by four years of probation, after accusations of āundermining the national unity policy.ā He had previously said something incredibly simple:
āWe just want the freedom to worship God.ā
READ THAT AGAIN.
While some Christians in America are arguing about worship stylesā¦
Somebody is losing years of his life for worshipping Jesus.
While weāre complaining because church went too longā¦
Believers elsewhere gather knowing there can be consequences.
While weāre fighting over denominations, titles, platforms, whoās prophetic, whoās apostolic, and who has the biggest ministryā¦
THERE ARE CHRISTIANS PRAYING FOR THE FREEDOM WE TREAT LIKE IT WILL ALWAYS BE HERE.
And this is where we need to be careful.
I cannot biblically tell you when or whether America will experience persecution identical to Vietnam.
But I can tell you Jesus never promised His followers that cultural acceptance would last forever.
Jesus said:
āIf they persecuted me, they will also persecute you.ā
āJohn 15:20
Paul said:
āAll who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.ā
ā2 Timothy 3:12
Church, we have become so comfortable with Christianity that some of us have confused FREEDOM with GUARANTEE.
You can currently open your Bible.
Say Jesus publicly.
Gather with believers.
Preach the Gospel.
Post Scripture.
Pray with your family.
Teach your children.
And many of us barely use the freedom we have.
š„ WHAT IF THE FREEDOM YOU KEEP TAKING FOR GRANTED BECAME THE FREEDOM YOU HAD TO FIGHT TO KEEP?
Would you still say Jesus?
Would you still preach?
Would you still gather?
Would you still stand on Scripture if there were consequences attached to it?
Because persecution has a way of revealing whether Christianity was merely our culture or truly our conviction.
The Open Doors report says BāKunās case has intensified concerns about religious freedom for ethnic-minority Christians in Vietnamās Central Highlands, particularly around unregistered house churches.
So yes, pay attention to the economy.
Pay attention to government.
Pay attention to technology.
Pay attention to the physical grid.
But Churchā¦
DONāT MISS THE SPIRITUAL GRID.
The ability to freely gather.
The ability to freely worship.
The ability to freely preach Christ.
The ability to freely raise your children in your faith.
DONāT WAIT UNTIL FREEDOM BECOMES EXPENSIVE TO DECIDE JESUS IS WORTH EVERYTHING.
Maybe instead of spending all our time asking:
āWhat happens if the grid goes down?ā
We should also be asking:
āWHAT HAPPENS IF FOLLOWING JESUS ACTUALLY STARTS COSTING ME SOMETHING?ā
Because somewhere today, thatās not a hypothetical question.
ITāS SOMEBODYāS REALITY.

| 13 | ONE YEAR AFTER CHARLIE KIRKāS ASSASSINATION, FORMER CRITIC SAYS HIS WORDS HELPED LEAD HER BACK TOWARD FAITH, FAMILY AND CHRIST
As the first anniversary of Charlie Kirkās death approaches, one woman is sharing a deeply personal testimony about how someone she once strongly disliked eventually influenced the direction of her life.
Kirk was fatally shot while speaking at Utah Valley University on September 10, 2025, an attack that shocked the country and renewed national debate about political violence and free expression.
She says that when she first encountered Kirkās content, she was in what she now describes as a dark period spiritually and personally.
She was beginning to use they/them pronouns, felt herself moving away from Jesus, and was embracing ideas she later came to believe conflicted with her Christian convictions.
At first, she says she hated Charlie Kirk.
She viewed him as rude, unkind and offensive and wondered why he could not simply keep his beliefs to himself.
Then she made a decision that changed her perspective:
She stopped reacting and started listening.
Over time, she says she concluded that the man she was actually hearing did not match the description others had given her.
Even then, she remained quiet.
Fear of judgment and ridicule caused her to delete old posts privately and avoid difficult conversations rather than openly explain how her beliefs were changing.
Kirkās assassination affected her deeply.
She says his willingness to publicly defend his convictions made her reconsider her own silence.
In her testimony, she credits his words and example with helping provide a foundation that eventually contributed to major changes in her life, including returning more seriously to her Christian faith and embracing her roles as a wife and mother.
Now, almost a year after his death, she says she no longer wants fear of criticism to determine whether she speaks about what she believes.
Her conclusion is rooted not ultimately in a political figure, but in Christ:
š āThere is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.ā ā Proverbs 14:12
Her declaration today is simple:
āI will put my trust in God. Christ is King.ā
Whatever people think of Charlie Kirkās politics or rhetoric, political violence should never replace argument, debate or peaceful disagreement. His killing remains part of an ongoing national conversation about political polarization and free speech.
For this woman, however, the anniversary is intensely personal.
She remembers a man whose public convictions challenged her to reconsider her ownāand she says the lasting result has been a renewed determination to follow Jesus without hiding what she believes. āļøš | 57 |
