| 5 | Testimony Tuesday
I never have lack when it comes to finding testimonies to share every Tuesday. Sometimes I get so giddy about it and can’t wait to share some of these with you all.
God always comes through.
Why do I get so excited about it? Because God is so awesome!
I’ve learned that God is so in love with us that he’ll do just about anything to get our attention. It’s exciting to experience His enduring love towards us.
He knows each of us so well. It is His delight to show us how good of a Father He really is.
He is a very personal God.
He knows how to get our attention.
He sometimes uses humor to let you know He is God and nothing is impossible with Him.
Sometimes, you’ll be minding your own business and God asks you to do something. He speaks to us in ways that our spirit will recognize His voice.
He often uses something physical within our own bodies to alert us.
I call that our Holy Spirit alarm.
God can use anything or anybody to get our attention.
He knows exactly what we need.
He is more than able and capable of meeting every need, even if it’s a chain saw to cut down some trees.
That Holy Spirit that dwells within us is alive and ready to show us great and mighty things, even things we couldn’t possibly know unless it comes directly from God.
So, if you ever feel like God has forgotten you, and it seems like miracles aren’t happening for you, pay attention to that Spirit within you. Call upon Him. Ask Him to show you, direct you, teach you, help you. He will do it! He’s done it for me over and over.
Make sure your heart is open and ready to receive, because anything is possible with Him. Be willing, and obedient because God will use you to show other’s His care for them and that He is real.
You will see His faithfulness.
Be encouraged today, for God loves you so much and wants to show Himself strong that you may testify of His great love.
“‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’”

| 17 | Testimony Tuesday
Today I am sharing an excerpt from a YouTube video. The subject is about demolishing strongholds, releasing captives, forgiveness, redemption and worship as warfare. The woman in this video stayed vigilant and persistent in praying and worshipping in her situation. I am inspired by her relentless resolve to continue to pray and war for her son simply by worshipping and trusting God.
It made me think of the time when I’ve felt like the enemy has been relentless in his attacks on myself and my family. I’ve battled and cried out to the Lord for a situation and yet it seems like the enemy continues to gain ground.
I remember a time in my personal life I cried out to the Lord during a crisis.
I heard the Lord say to me;
“Do you trust me?”
I said; “Yes Lord, I trust you.”
He asked me a second time; “Do you trust me?”
Again I said “Yes Lord.”
The third time he asked; “Will you trust me enough even when it seems like everything is going in the opposite direction?”
Again, I said; “Yes, I trust you Lord.”
And that’s when things got worse.
What I’ve learned over the years is that in warfare, prayer, praise and worship are weapons of mass destruction when it comes to taking down strongholds. But there are times you may feel like giving up, because you are just battle weary.
The enemy knows that if he continues to pound you, you eventually weaken. His tactics are often cunning causing you to doubt as he saturates you with lies and physical attacks.
Your faith begins to fade.
You may feel like God has forgotten about you and does not hear your prayers.
Doubt encroaches, fear of not having the faith to fight, nor the energy to pray sometimes.
No matter how we feel at the time, our decision to pray or not to pray can literally shape the atmosphere.
Sometimes you may not feel like doing any of these things, especially in a long arduous battle.
Have you felt defeated lately?
Start praising God for the victory to come.
Are you battle weary?
Start worshipping in songs of deliverance.
In doing so you are acknowledging the fact indeed apart from God you can do nothing, but He can.
You don’t have to FEEL like it… the power is not in the “feelings” it’s in the doing. It’s in the obedience. It’s in the acquisition of His Word in the depths of your soul, believing and trusting only Him for deliverance.
Even when your faith seems meager and your weary soul feels defeated, His Word is still working, it’s alive and powerful.
Praise and pray anyways.
Worship, especially when you don’t feel like it.
Nothing brings the enemy down like worshipping God in the midst of a battle.
God has chosen to influence the affairs of the earth through us. This includes our surroundings in our personal lives and our communities.
Persist in pursuing victory.
Resist the temptation to give up based on how you feel.
God is watching over His Word to perform it.
Act in faith, pray as if you’ve already obtained the victory. Govern the atmosphere through what God has already promised you according to His Word.
“But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” I Corinthians 15:57
“To You, O my Strength, I will sing praises; For God is my defense, My God of mercy.”
Psalms 59:17
“Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, Whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy,”
Psalms 107:2
“You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem!’ Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, for the Lord is with you.””
