She never tired of reaching out to others and was tireless in her service. She gave her all for God, her sisters and the sick poor. She co-founded Our Lady's Nurses for the Poor in Sydney in 1913. Amidst her troubles, Eileen was united to Jesus and Mary, drawing inspiration from them both. Her cause for canonisation was officially completed 16 August, 2024. Armed Sunni militants have been chopping down trees to sell as firewood, the disarmed Christian villagers have repeatedly called HTS but when their units arrive the militants go away only to return later because HTS does not pursue & punish them despite that there is a Syrian state law criminalizing deforestation. These militants are Sunnis from nearby Sunni towns and villages known to the people of the Valley of the Christians, as Christians & Alawites in the region have been disarmed and only Sunnis are seen carrying arms without consequence. HTS is almost certainly involved. If they truly were uninvolved the first thing they would do is allow the existing Christian day & night villager guard groups to carry firearms to deter theft. But they don't because they are evidently complicit with these Sunni armed militants. Throughout 14 years of war & despite suffering and going cold through the winters, the people of the Valley of the Christians have not chopped down their own trees because of the immense value they place on their nature & wildlife. All the while insidious 'Christian' figures in the diaspora join the radical Islamist campaign against Patriarch John X and against Christian areas that have stood with Patriarch John X, then ignoring all of the events in the Valley and elsewhere to serve the radicals' agenda to impoverish Christians & minorities to force them to emigrate.
