Nighttime Softening
A letting go practice to prepare the body for rest.
Breathe in through the nose for 3, out of nose for 5 for each one.
I soften my forehead.
I soften my eyes.
I soften my jaw.
I soften my tongue.
I soften my throat.
I soften my shoulders.
I soften my arms.
I soften my hands.
I soften my back/spine.
I soften my chest.
I soften my diaphragm.
I soften my belly.
I soften my pelvic floor.
I soften my legs.
I soften my knees.
I soften my calves.
I soften my feet.
And every cell in my body.
Im softening I am safe.
And so it is.

We each have an inner authority. A sacred connection to what some of us call a higher-self. The part of us beyond physical matter the conscious spirit within the energy of matter.
Our inner authority speaks through intuition.
Insight from our inner authority changes behaviour faster than information. It is the unseen energy language of our healing.

Intuitive Body Connection Practice:
A short tuning into presence with ourselves.
Place one hand on your chest over your heart and one on your lower belly.
Breathe gently and slowly through your nose, sensing the air in & out of your nostrils.
After 3-4 full breathes notice where your attention is takin within your whole body system…
In your mind silently ask your body to show you what would like your presence?
Treat what you feel as neutral information and bring your breath or envision light into that area arising.
Rather than pushing anything to be fixed just offer your conscious presence; heart, breath and light for a few moments or mins.
Continue flowing and following diff areas letting your body lead and your loving response is to listen and follow.
Keep tuning in until you feel lightness, inner shifting, calm or intuitive completion. —M

Brain Injury: You Can’t See It, But We Feel It!
Some can walk, some can’t.
Some can talk, some only with pain.
Most look just as we did before.
But when healing from #tbi #concussion #cci our brain is working beyond overtime to do what used to be effortless. Most people don’t see or know the pain, struggle & battle behind it all.
Most Brain injuries are NOT visible.
What you see doesn’t reflect what someone feels as they survive and heal.
Behind the surface of an outside “normal” can be years of:
—Overwhelming daily pain & fatigue
—Extreme sensory overload from lights, noise, smells
—Balance issues, struggle walking
—Brain fog, confusion, memory loss (terrifying experience)
—Trouble focusing or finding the right words, expression issues
—Deep emotional shifts not feeling like same self
—Body anxiety, irritability, or depression
—So much pain that’s hard to explain, headaches, pressure, or neural zaps
—Grief & heartbreak of not being believed or understood, cared for, helped as need.
—loss of family, friendships, relationships from lack of understanding.
Brain injury recovery is NOT linear.
Neuroplasticity takes time, compassion, and support. Just because someone “looks okay” for a short 5-30 mins doesn’t mean they are in any way or doesn’t mean they don’t crash in intense symptoms right after you’ve seen them from interacting.

Regeneration Follows Terrain
“Your healing is not stuck because their cells are permanently damaged.
They are stuck because cells are continuously regenerating in a terrain that cannot support healthy regeneration.
Every cell in the body turns over. Hepatocytes regenerate. Epithelial cells replace themselves. Neurons rewire. The ECM itself is continuously remodeled. The body is not a static structure that degrades over time.
It is a dynamic regenerative system that is always producing new biology.
