Cabinet approves development of Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport, Varanasi The project includes the construction of a New Terminal Building, Apron Extension, Runway Extension, Parallel Taxi Track & Allied works. The estimated financial outgo will be ₹2869.65 Crore for enhancing the passenger handling capacity of the airport to 9.9 million passengers per annum (MPPA) from the existing 3.9 MPPA

Cabinet approves ‘Development of an all-Weather Greenfield deepdraft Major Port at Vadhavan in Maharashtra' On completion, ₹76,200 crore Port will be one of the top 10 ports of the world The Project will create a cumulative capacity of 298 million metric tons (MMT) per annum, including around 23.2 million TEUs (Twenty-foot equivalents) of container handling capacity.

Cabinet approves Minimum Support Prices (MSP) for Kharif Crops for Marketing Season 2024-25 The highest absolute increase in MSP over the previous year has been recommended for oilseeds and pulses ✅Nigerseed increased by ₹983/- per quintal ✅Sesamum increased by ₹632/- per quintal ✅Tur/Arhar increased by ₹550/- per quin The increase in MSP for Kharif Crops for Marketing Season 2024-25 is in line with the Union Budget 2018-19 announcement of fixing the MSP at a level of at least 1.5 times of the All-India weighted average cost of production
