The warrior needs love.Affection is as natural to him as food, drink, and the passion for the Good Fight. If he watches the sunset and feels no joy, he knows something is wrong. At such times, he lays down his arms and seeks company, so that together they may watch the sun go down. If he struggles to find companionship, he asks himself: βWas I too afraid to reach out? Did I receive affection and fail to notice it?β The warrior makes use of solitude β but he does not allow solitude to use him.

When the warrior suffers injustice, he often withdraws, hiding his pain. This can be both strength and weakness. It is one thing to let the heart heal quietly, but another to remain in endless contemplation out of fear of appearing fragile. Within each of us lives both an angel and a devil, and their voices sound alike. Faced with hardship, the devil urges isolation, whispering of our vulnerability. The angel invites reflection β and sometimes needs anotherβs voice to be heard. The warrior learns to balance solitude with connection.

The archer says: βWhen I draw my bow, I feel I must release at once or lose my breath.β
The master replies: βIf you force the moment of release, you will never learn the art. It is often restless desire that ruins the shot.β
The warrior too sometimes thinks: βIf I do not act, nothing will be done.βBut it is not quite so. He must act β yet he must also leave space for the universe to act with him.

The warrior takes time to meditate. He sits quietly, surrendering himself to divine light. In these moments, he lets go of thoughts, pleasures, and challenges, allowing his gifts to reveal themselves. Even if he does not recognize them at once, these gifts are guiding his life and shaping his daily path. While he meditates, the warrior is no longer just himself β he becomes a spark from the soul of the world. These moments bring him clarity about his responsibilities and how he should act. The warrior knows that in the silence of his heart, he will hear the command that directs him.

The philosopher teaches the warriorβs way:
Respect the small and subtle things. Recognize the right moment to act.Even if you have drawn the bow many times, still pay attention to how you place the arrow and bend the string. When a beginner knows what he needs, he shows more wisdom than a distracted sage. Gathering love brings fortune; gathering hatred brings disaster. Ignoring problems invites tragedy. And remember: a battle is not the same as a quarrel.

The warrior shares his world with those he loves. He encourages them to pursue the things they long for but lack the courage to attempt. At such times, the Enemy appears, holding two signs. One says: βThink only of yourself. Keep all blessings for yourself, or you will lose everything.β The Other says: βWho are you to help others? Canβt you see your own faults?β The warrior knows his faults. But he also knows he cannot grow alone, nor distance himself from his companions. So he casts both signs to the ground, even if they contain a grain of truth. They crumble into dust, and the warrior continues to encourage those nearest him.

The warrior knows his greatest teachers are those who share the battlefield with him.He understands that asking for advice can be risky, and giving advice even more so. When he needs guidance, he observes how his companions face β or fail to face β their struggles. When seeking inspiration, he listens closely, hearing in the words of his neighbor the voice of his guardian angel. When weary or lonely, he does not dream of distant figures. He turns to those beside him, sharing his sorrow or his need for affection openly, without guilt. The warrior knows that even the farthest star in the Universe reveals itself through the simple things around him.

The warrior does not delay decisions. He reflects deeply before acting, weighing his training, his duties, and his role as a guide. He seeks calm, analyzing each step as if it were vital. But once the choice is made, he moves forward. He does not doubt, nor does he turn back when events unfold differently than expected. If his choice is right, he will win β even if the battle lasts longer than imagined. If his choice is wrong, he will fall, but rise again with greater wisdom. Once begun, the warrior perseveres until the end.

The warrior listens to the wisdom of thinkers:
βThe results of our actions are warnings to fools and guiding lights to the wise.β
βLife is a chessboard; our gestures are the pieces, the rules are Natureβs laws. The unseen opponent plays with fairness, patience, and justice.β
The warrior accepts the challenge. He knows that God does not overlook the mistakes of those He loves, nor allow His chosen ones to pretend ignorance of the rules.

Every warrior has felt fear before battle.Every warrior has, at some point, lied or betrayed. Every warrior has suffered for trivial reasons. Every warrior has doubted his own identity. Every warrior has failed in his duties. Every warrior has said βyesβ when his heart wanted to say βno.β And yet β this is why he is a warrior. Because he has endured all of this and still never lost hope of becoming better than he is.

The warrior knows that no one is foolish. Life teaches each person in its own time.He always gives his best and expects the best from others. Through generosity, he shows each man how much he is capable of achieving. Some companions complain: βPeople are so ungrateful.β But the warrior is not discouraged. He continues to encourage others β because in lifting them, he also strengthens himself.

The warrior knows his faults β but he also knows his strengths. Some companions complain: βOthers have more chances than we do.β Perhaps they are right. Yet the warrior refuses to be paralyzed. He chooses instead to make the most of his gifts. He remembers: the gazelleβs power lies in its legs, the seagullβs strength in its precision, and the tigerβs courage in knowing its own might. The warrior seeks what he can truly rely on. And he always checks that he carries three things: faith, hope, and love. With these three, he moves forward without hesitation.

The warrior studies the ground he intends to conquer. No matter how difficult the goal, he knows there is always a way forward. He sharpens his sword, searches for alternate paths, and fills his heart with determination. Yet as he advances, new obstacles appear β ones he had not foreseen. If he waits for the perfect moment, he will never begin. He needs a spark of madness to take the next step. The warrior embraces that spark. For in both love and battle, nothing can ever be fully predicted.
