He said: Special quality of the remembrance of Allah is that after it, whispers do not remain. Only a resembling thought (like a shadow of a whisper) remains, and this is supported by a Hadith: “When Allah is remembered, he (the devil) withdraws; and when one is heedless, he whispers.” I have suggested an example of this: if a fly sits upon a mirror, then to those who look at it, it may appear as though it is inside, but in reality, it is outside. In the same way, this whisper is in truth a very minor ailment, yet people have made it into something very burdensome. It is like someone who, after running, becomes short of breath and then comes to a physician saying: “Doctor, I have developed asthma.” The physician laughs and says: “Foolish man, this is only a temporary reaction from your running; in a few minutes it will go away. This is not asthma.” Similarly, a beginner becomes frightened by these whispers, but the true seeker says: “Do not pay attention to them, do not turn towards them, and not even with the intention of driving them away, because that too is a form of attention. Simply remain carefree. मलफूज़ाते हकीमुल उम्मत हज़रत मौलाना अशरफ़ अली थानवी (रहमतुल्लाहि अलैहि) पाठ संख्या: 990 वसाविस (शंकाओं) का इलाज उस की तरफ़ से बे इल्तिफ़ाती (बेध्यानी) और ज़िक्रुल्लाह (अल्लाह की याद) है। फ़रमाया कि ज़िक्रुल्लाह की यह ख़ासियत है कि इस के बाद वसवसे बाक़ी नहीं रहते। सिर्फ़ मुशाबह वसवसा के रहता है और इस की एक हदीस मोअय्यिद (ताईद करने वाली) है: "इज़ा ज़करल्लाहा खनसा, वा इज़ा ग़फला वसवसा"। मैं ने इस की एक मिसाल तज्वीज़ की है कि अगर आईना के ऊपर मक्खी बैठ जाए तो ज़ाहिरन देखने वालों को गो वह अन्दर भी मालूम हो गी मगर हक़ीक़तन बाहर ही है, और यह वसवसा गो बहुत हल्का मर्ज़ है मगर लोगों ने इस को बड़ा भारी बना लिया है, जैसे किसी का दौड़ने में साँस फूल जाए और हकीम से आकर कहे कि हकीम जी मुझे तो दम़ा की बीमारी हो गई तो हकीम हँसता है कि अह़मक़ यह तो तेरे दौड़ने से आरज़ी (टेंपरेरी) हरकत पैदा हो गई है चंद मिनट में रफ़अ (दूर) हो जाएगी यह दम़ा नहीं है। ऐसे ही मुबतदी (नया सीखने वाला) वसवसा से डरता है मगर मुहक़्क़िक़ कहता है कि तुम परवाह न करो, इल्तिफ़ात (ध्यान) न करो और बे इल्तिफ़ाती से भी दफ़अ का क़स्द (इरादा) न करो कि यह भी इल्तिफ़ात है, बस यूँ ही बे फ़िक्र रहो अगर तमाम उमर भी इसी में गुज़र जाए कुछ परवाह न करो ख़्वाह इसी हालत में मौत आ जाए। मलफूज़ाते हकीमुल उम्मत: भाग 11 पृष्ठ 201 https://chat.whatsapp.com/IbLVEGw7lMWAqG4x6ZdPov #MalfuzatEHakimulUmmat #MalfuzatAshrafAliThanwi #AshrafAliThanwiQuotes #HakimUlUmmatQuotes منجانب : منتظمین فیوض حکیم الامت

So that when disagreements arise between both wives, you may live separately in that third house. Because when you become upset with them, where will you stay?” Hearing this, he became silent. Later, the woman he wanted to marry was married to someone else, but afterward he went to Kanpur and performed a second marriage. Smiling, he said: “Take it as though it was that woman’s prohibition (whose marriage had taken place elsewhere).” Our Hazrat said: “In polygamy, if the husband is quick-tempered and firm, then everything remains in order; otherwise, if he is of a soft, yielding nature, the wives make him helpless. Such a person, if he first studies some Arabic and then begins memorisation, it becomes easier for him because he already knows the rules. I always tell the students: during the time of study, try to understand the books, do not try to memorise them. If you try to memorise at this stage, the mind gets spoiled and even the books are left unstudied. Nowadays the faculties cannot bear this burden. What is worse is that some of the teachers in madrasas impose such harsh tasks on students that they become useless, and this is a great injustice. Some even make them memorise Kafiyah (a book of Arabic grammar). Now, is that something to be memorised? If you are so eager to memorise, then memorise the Noble Qur’an. He said: Nowadays the written examination which is in practice, I am opposed to it. It puts great hardship and burden upon the students. The purpose of examination is to see the capability (of the student). During the time of student life, it is sufficient to see whether he has properly understood the book or not. This fact can also be known even if the student is examined with the book open before him. As for memorisation, this comes naturally through studying and teaching; in fact, the memorisation during student life does not even last, and the mind becomes unnecessarily strained. At my place in Kanpur, the examination was always oral, and students were even allowed to refer to commentaries and marginal notes while answering. Because of this, all the students used to pray for me. The main point was only to see whether the student, with the help of study or through the assistance of annotations and explanations, could solve the given passage or not. Beyond this, everything else is unnecessary trouble. I even presented this opinion in other madrasas also; though they verbally agreed (“We believe”), they did not put it into practice (“but we did not act”). मलफूज़ाते हकीमुल उम्मत हज़रत मौलाना अशरफ़ अली थानवी (रहमतुल्लाहि अलैहि) पाठ संख्या: 986 हज़रत वाला का तरीक़ा इम्तिहान-ए-तलबा, मौजूदा तरीक़-ए-इम्तिहान तलबा के लिये गेराँ (भारी) है। फ़रमाया: आज कल जो तहरीरी इम्तिहान (लिखने वाली परीक्षा) राइज़ (जारी) है, मैं तो उसका मुख़ालिफ़ हूँ। इस में तलबा (छात्रों) पर बड़ी मशक्क़त व गेरानी (भारीपन) पड़ती है। इम्तिहान से मक़सूद तो इस्ते'दाद (योग्यता) का देखना है, सो तालिब-इल्मी के ज़माना में इस क़दर इस्ते'दाद का देखना काफ़ी है कि इस किताब को यह अच्छी तरह समझ भी गया या नहीं, सो यह बात किताब देख कर इम्तिहान देने से भी मालूम हो सकती है। बाक़ी रहा हिफ़्ज़ (ज़बानी याद) होना, यह पढ़ने पढ़ाने से ख़ुद हो जाता है बल्कि तालिब-इल्मी के ज़माना का हिफ़्ज़ याद भी नहीं रहता और दिमाग़ मुफ़्त में ख़राब हो जाता है। मेरे यहाँ कानपुर में हमेशा त़करीरी (ज़बानी) इम्तिहान होता था और शुरूह व हवाशी (व्याख्या) देख कर भी जवाब देने की इजाज़त थी, जिससे सब तलबा दुआ देते थे। बस इस क़दर देख ले कि इस मक़ाम (जगह) को यह तालिब-इल्म मुतालआ से या हवाशी व शरह (कुंजी) की इआनत (सहायता) से हल भी कर सकता है या नहीं। इस से ज़्यादा बख़ेड़ा है। और इस राय को मैंने दूसरे मदरसों में भी पेश किया मगर "आमन्ना" तो है, लेकिन "अमलना" नहीं है। मलफूज़ाते हकीमुल उम्मत: भाग 11 पृष्ठ 174 https://chat.whatsapp.com/IbLVEGw7lMWAqG4x6ZdPov #MalfuzatEHakimulUmmat #MalfuzatAshrafAliThanwi #AshrafAliThanwiQuotes #HakimUlUmmatQuotes منجانب : منتظمین فیوض حکیم الامت
