I hate that changing YouTube playback speed takes 3 clicks away and you have to set it on every video
So vibe coded a chrome extension
Set a default speed and it remembers your preference across every video., it shows you how much time you saved that day from watching faster.
there are others out there too I'm sure,
I hate watching 1x speed now, feels I'm actually wasting time
check it out: here

saying the models we built could be dangers is not an effective marketing strategy and that's not why we do it
Spurs lost the series, it was a good run for a young team like them
fun fact: over the Knicks' last 11 postseason games, crime in New York City fell 78% during game hours.
Even with all the chaos after the games.
If you count to a billion 1 number a second it would take you 31 years
To a trillion, 31,709 years
That many years ago humans were hunter gatherers, agriculture had not been invented yet.

Introducing BirrJS
A TypeScript billing engine for the Ethiopian market. Payment gateways here only handle one-time payments, so there's no built-in support for subscriptions, entitlements, or reminders.
BirrJS fills that gap with a subscription lifecycle engine that handles plans, feature gating, usage tracking, expiry and reminders, and easy payment provider integration.

from the artists who worked on the FIFA WorldCup posters Hank Willis stood out to me
He's is an American conceptual artist best known for work that explores identity, race, history, media, advertising, and popular culture.
Raise Up
The sculpture was inspired by a photograph taken by South African photographer Ernest Cole showing Black miners undergoing a degrading medical inspection during apartheid.
He said that viewers often first notice the miners' nudity, and that focusing on their exposed bodies can unintentionally repeat the dehumanizing gaze imposed on them. He wanted to give viewers to walk around and look up and see these men with dignity.
Just heard that
"Every time you solved a reCAPTCHA by selecting buses, bicycles, or traffic lights, you weren't just proving you were human-you were also helping label data used to improve Al vision systems. One of the world's largest crowdsourced machine-learning datasets was built through millions of tiny CAPTCHA challenges completed by everyday internet users."
You were never a robot
Aerofly RC8, I took this from a friend yesterday.
He built a custom joystick with an Arduino Nano and 3D printed the case (custom model).
I was trying to record my flight path (output from the Arduino) and then replay it. I had to install Virtual Port Simulator, which wasn't the best tool to record, test, debug, and so on.
flying is way harder than it looks btw.
modern war training include something like this for sure
there's probably similar thing in ethiopia as well, something they train on

I wanted to understand, read about, and eventually try to write about our education system.
As a dropout who volunteered to teach and enjoyed teaching, one could say I had some relationship with the subject.
Although I didnβt think it fit what was required for the competition, since they wanted specific problems with suggested solutions (at least thatβs what I thought), I did manage to write something on the topic.
Plus much has been said on the topic, same argument I made aswell.
Regardless, it was useful going through the process, I hope you find it the same way and interesting too.
