| 9 | So a few weeks ago i built this random little side project for fun , turning a Stripe dashboard into a forest view…I posted it on X, got 215k views, and somehow 3 people from Stripe reached out. one was the Head of Design at Stripe, previously at Lyft, Airbnb, and frog. she suggested i apply for a remote design role, but apparently Ethiopia isn’t on Stripe’s hiring list, so that didn’t work out. she kinda liked the project so she told me she wanted to show it at a big design summit. funny enough, she actually did,
here’s the exact moment (it’s less than 5 seconds, but it means a lot for something i literally made just for fun)
