Elangbam Rabikumar Singh (24) of Hiyanglam Warkhong, Kakching District, A/P at a rented house at Mantripukhri, arrested from Mantripukhri area. Three arrested from Khabam Leikai near Ibudhou Marjing Gate: 1. Waikhom Arun Singh (20) of Khabam Heibongmakhong, Imphal East, 2. ⁠Ahongshangbam Avinash Singh alias Andy (26) of Kwaksiphai Mamang Leikai, Bishnupur District, 3.⁠One juvenile. Arrested from Pangei Bazar: 1. ⁠Elangbam Alexander Singh (21yrs) of Hiyanglam Warakhong, Kakching District, and Arrested from Koirengei Forest Gate: 1. Phuritshabam Koireng Singh, 51yrs of Pheidinga Bazar. He is a Mali of Manipur Forest Department. The following items were seized from them: 1. 23 (Twenty three) Letter heads of UPPK, 2. ⁠Baofeng Handheld WT set, 3. ⁠An Astar car, silver colour (MN01 CS-2622), 4. ⁠A Pleasure two-wheeler (MN06SE-7395). 16	+1 On 25/08/2026, during a cordon and search operation at Taphou Kuki and Taphou Liangmai, Senapati district by a combined team of Manipur Police, CoBRA Battalion, CRPF, Mahila Battalion, CRPF the following items were recovered: i. 02 (two) SBBL guns. ii. 78 (seventy-eight) numbers of 12-bore live rounds. iii. ⁠11 (eleven) numbers of 12-bore empty cases. iv. ⁠Empty cases of AK47 and .22 ammunition v. 01 (one) 12-bore cartridge belt. vi. 01 (one) set of charger. vii. 05 (five) vehicle registration plates. viii. 01 (one) empty steel military-surplus ammunition container. 18	+1 Fresh violence erupted in Manipur's Taphou area early Monday as miscreants torched a house in Taphou Kuki at 2:40 AM. Retaliatory attacks followed around 4:00 AM, damaging Poumai Naga homes near 9MR and Mareimei. Crossfire at 9:20 AM injured a CRPF sub-inspector. By Tuesday morning, CRPF COBRA units launched house-to-house combing operations to restore order.	872

BP vests + 01 pouch. During the withdrawal of SFs, villagers, mainly women, blocked the road with stones and demanded return of the unverified firearms and ammunition. Laitonjam Rocky Singh alias Khutan (37) 2. Pukhrambam Kumarjit Singh (36) Inter alia, a handwritten extortion slip bearing a mobile number and the name SOREPA was seized from the duo.	124
