2	Bomb Planted at Shija Hospital Unknown miscreants left a hand grenade in front of the public toilet at Shija Hospital and Research Institute (SHRI) in Imphal West District on Monday around 7:30 am. According to report received from police, some commuters came across the hand grenade. The hand grenade was later safely retrieved by bomb disposal team of Manipur Police. As of now no individuals or group has claimed responsibility of the grenade.	119

9	ASSAM RIFLES, MIZORAM POLICE SEIZE METHAMPHETAMINE WORTH ₹2.63 CRORE IN AIZAWL #AssamRifles and Mizoram Police conducted an intelligence-led operation in Chanmari, Aizawl on 27 August 2026. The team apprehended three individuals and recovered 878 grams of Methamphetamine Tablets valued at approximately ₹2.63 crore.
