Do not believe in rumours. | 200 |
| 14 | Reports from local sources indicate a heavy militant assault targeted Langka Liangmei Village along the IT Road in Kangpokpi District this morning, June 13, 2026, at around 8:30 AM. According to these alleged reports, armed Kuki militants belonging to the KNF faction used heavy weaponry and explosive devices against the civilian population. Local narratives link the offensive directly as fallout from the recent killing of six Naga individuals whose bodies were alleged to be mutilated.
During the heavy firefight, localized Naga defense volunteers successfully repelled the advance, leaving no human casualties among the villagers, though a dog belonging to a Naga resident was killed. One alleged KNF frontline cadre was neutralized on the spot, and another was injured. Abandoning a walkie-talkie and leaving extensive blood trails along the perimeter, the remaining members of the assault team fled. Local sources are urgently demanding a time-bound investigation into the KNF proxy camps based out of Bileijang villa | 1 |
