Confession and therapy can work together to offer a more holistic path towards healing and well-being. What our faith uniquely offers is an encounter with a Person who loves us deeply and gives us a model to follow, helping us better understand who we are, our purpose and how we are to view the world around us. 📹 Discover how psychological therapy and confession can work together to support a deeper journey towards true healing: https://buff.ly/PaMPCpq

How often do we let fear make our decisions for us? In today’s Gospel, Herod knew that John was a righteous and holy man and listened to him with curiosity. Yet when the moment came, he chose to protect his reputation rather than do what was right. Perhaps we can relate more than we’d like to admit — fearing what people will think, being left out, disappointing others, or looking foolish for standing by what we believe. Following God doesn’t mean we will never feel afraid. It means learning whose voice deserves the final say. May we have the courage to choose what is right, even when it costs us our pride, comfort or reputation. Because we were not made to live for the approval of others, but to live in the love of God. 📖 Read more

St Augustine’s Confessions is more than the story of a saint. It’s the honest story of someone who struggled, made mistakes, searched for meaning, and spent years finding his way back to God. Maybe that’s why his story feels so familiar. The saints weren’t perfect. They were people who let God meet them where they were and slowly transform their lives. And that’s the beauty of the Church: there is always room for us to come home. No matter how far we’ve wandered or how many times we’ve fallen, God never stops calling us back. May St Augustine remind us that it’s never too late to turn towards God, begin again, and let His grace change us. ❤️

St Monica reminds us that sometimes, the most powerful thing we can do for someone who has drifted from the faith is to keep praying for them. She tried to speak to Augustine about God, but he often brushed her aside. Still, she never stopped praying. For more than fifteen years, she entrusted her son to God. As St Ambrose encouraged her, she learned to “speak less to Augustine about God and more to God about Augustine.” Her story reminds us that discipleship is more than following rules. Sometimes, it means being the face of Christ to someone who has lost their way, loving them patiently and praying for their conversion. Perhaps God is calling you to be a St Monica to someone in your life. You may not see the fruits of your prayers immediately, but keep trusting, loving and praying. God is always at work, even when we cannot see it. 🙏 📖 Read more 📹 Watch the full Heart-to-Heart with Cardinal William Goh on what true discipleship really means

What does it really mean to be formed in our faith? Formation isn’t about a one-off encounter with Jesus. Neither does it only concern retreats, programmes, or studying the Catechism. Formation is the continual growth that we experience as disciples of Christ. This happens when we build our lives on the Word of God – when we meditate on it and allow it to guide us in our lives. How can we dive deeper into the Word of God so that it forms us, shapes us, and becomes the light of our path as we navigate this modern world? But honestly, how many times does it feel like you are? When friends start getting married, having children and building lives together, it can be hard not to wonder, “God, what about me?” Sometimes singleness can feel like standing on the sidelines while everyone else moves forward. But your life is not on pause. God has not forgotten you. There are people He wants you to meet, places He wants you to go, and ways He wants to work through you in this season. So instead of only asking, “When will my life change?” perhaps ask, “Lord, what are You inviting me into today?” And that doesn’t mean the ache of singleness isn’t real. It can hurt to desire something good and not know when it will come. But there are still friendships to nurture, places to explore, prayers to pray and ways God is shaping you right now. Maybe this season isn’t a consolation prize. Maybe it’s a gift we’re still learning to receive. 🙏 📖 Read more

On this feast of St. Bartholomew, we remember an apostle whose love for Christ remained steadfast even when following Him came at an unimaginable cost. His witness reminds us that faith is not simply about believing in an idea, but about knowing, loving and choosing to follow Jesus. We may not have walked alongside Jesus as the Apostles did, but He still invites us into a real relationship with Him today. In our joys, struggles, questions and uncertainties, may we turn to Him in prayer and, like St. Bartholomew, grow in the courage to follow Christ faithfully, trusting in His love. 📖 Read more

Three years have passed since Serene lost her husband, Kel, during a family vacation. In her unexpected journey of grief, she has wrestled with questions for God, learned how to navigate life without the person she once shared it with and discovered how loss has changed her. Yet, through the pain, Serene and her family have slowly discovered that grief and hope can exist side by side. In sharing her story, she reflects on the challenges of sudden loss, the ways God has met her in her darkest moments, and how, over the years, she has come to trust that God is indeed in control and is with her and her family amidst the suffering. 📹 Watch the full video: https://youtu.be/cHnaM7MhmBM

What do we do when we feel like we’re under a curse? Is there anything we can do to protect ourselves from evil? It can be frightening to feel that something dark is being directed towards us, but as Christians, we are not called to respond with fear or hatred. We are called to turn towards God. As Fr. Fortea reminds us, “Good is always stronger than evil.” This echoes Christ’s words: “Bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you” (Luke 6:27–28). So when fear creeps in, may we draw closer to the Lord through prayer, Scripture, the Rosary and the Eucharist. Our hope is not in our own strength, but in Christ, who is greater than any darkness. Lord, keep us close to You, protect us from all evil, and teach us to respond to darkness with Your light. 🙏 📹 Learn more about demons and how we might be unknowingly exposing ourselves to evil: https://buff.ly/AwbP5fq

What makes a Catholic school different? Beyond the classroom, Catholic education invites young people to discover the why behind what they do: to act with compassion, treat others with dignity, and build a community rooted in love. Through prayer, friendships, teachers, and everyday encounters, students, whether Catholic or not, discover that the values of love, kindness and care can be experienced in tangible ways. On Catholic Education Sunday, we give thanks for the gift of our Catholic schools and for their shared mission of helping young people encounter Jesus and contribute to the common good. 📹 Watch the full video

The Queenship of Mary is a deep source of comfort, especially when we feel overwhelmed by the weight of our sins and fear divine punishment. The Church gently invites us to seek Mary, our Mother and Queen, in every need. Our confidence in her powerful intercession stems from the unwavering truth that she is both the Mother of God and the Mother of all humanity. This assurance inspires us to rise after every fall, knowing we are never alone. Let us be bold in approaching our Lady, for her powerful intercession.

We often think of faith formation as something that happens in church, at catechism, or involving a retreat or programme. But much of our formation happens in our homes. More than just buildings, our homes shape who we are, influence our relationships, and form the very foundation of our spiritual life. And this is where faith becomes real: not only in what we say we believe, but in how we love the people right in front of us. How is the Lord inviting you to make your faith real, alive, and active in your home? 🏠 Sacred Spaces: Our Homes invites us to rediscover the home as a place where our hearts and faith are formed. Deep down, every heart longs for peace. Yet how often do we search for it in everything but God, hoping that the right person, circumstance or achievement will finally make us feel whole? May we remember that the peace our hearts truly long for begins with Him. When we place God back at the centre, He gently restores what is unsettled within us and teaches us to become people of truth, justice and love. St. Pius X, pray for us! 🙏

In a world filled with outrage, disagreements and division, anger can feel almost impossible to escape. But as Christians, we are called not to deny anger, nor to let it control us, but to bring it to Christ and allow Him to transform it. When anger takes over, it can quickly become bitterness, hurt and division. But when we pause, pray and seek God’s wisdom, anger can become an opportunity to pursue what is right with love. May we learn to recognise when anger calls us to act for justice, and when it calls us instead to surrender, forgive and choose peace. 🕊 Here are five practical ways to help us navigate anger with grace. 🙏

In a world where so many of us are searching for companionship, it’s easy to reach for whatever makes us feel a little less alone — even AI. But there was a point when Clara realised that even AI had its limits. Beneath the humour was a deeper realisation: no conversation, connection or person can completely fill the loneliness we sometimes carry. Even the best spouse or deepest friendship can’t fulfil every longing of the human heart. Not because they aren’t enough, but because we were made for something infinite. Perhaps that ache for something more isn’t something to be afraid of — it’s a reminder that we were made for more than this world can give. 📹 Watch the full episode of TBH now: https://buff.ly/Vm6XJf4 🗒 Message for the 60th World Day of Social Communications, “𝘗𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘏𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯 𝘝𝘰𝘪𝘤𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘍𝘢𝘤𝘦𝘴”: https://buff.ly/If3lkeW

Today, we pray for our cities and all who call them home. 🙏 Amid the noise, busyness and constant movement of urban life, many quietly carry loneliness and a longing to belong. Yet Jesus, our Good Shepherd, walks among us and sees every person. Let us pray for a Church that goes forth with open hearts, reaching out to those who feel unseen and building communities rooted in welcome, fraternity and hope. May our simple acts of love make God’s presence visible, so that no one feels alone and our cities become places where the joy of the Gospel can shine.
