🌿 99 Names of Allah & How to Use Them in Du’a 🌿 🌿 Name of Allah: Al-Bari’ (الْبَارِئُ) 🕊️ Meaning: Al-Bari’ means The Originator. Allah is the One who brings His creation into existence according to His perfect wisdom and design. Everything He creates is purposeful and precise. 🤲 When to call upon Him: Call upon Al-Bari’ when you’re seeking a fresh start, trying to leave behind old habits, or asking Allah to help you grow into a better version of yourself. 💭 How to use this name in du’a: “Ya Bari’, help me leave behind what distances me from You, renew my heart, and guide me toward what is best for my dunya and akhirah.” 🌙 Reflection: One of Shaytan’s tricks is making us believe that we’ll never change. We tell ourselves, “This is just who I am.” But Al-Bari’ is the One who creates, shapes, and brings about change. No matter how long you’ve struggled with a habit, a weakness, or a sin, Allah is capable of transforming your life in ways you never imagined. Never underestimate what He can do for a heart that sincerely turns back to Him. 📖 “He is Allah, the Creator, the Originator, the Fashioner; to Him belong the best names.” (Qur’an 59:24) 📿 Post from @doseofdeen 🤍

Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله: “How many a reward has come racing toward you… But then stopped at the door; for the doors responding back were: "I will" "Perhaps" and "Maybe" (do good deeds). [Kitaab Al-Fawā’id | Pg. 63]

🌿 99 Names of Allah & How to Use Them in Du’a 🌿 🌿 Name of Allah: Al-Khaliq (الْخَالِق) 🕊️ Meaning: Al-Khaliq means The Creator. Allah is the One who created everything from nothing. Every person, every mountain, every star, and every living thing exists because He willed it into existence. 🤲 When to call upon Him: Call upon Al-Khaliq when you’re feeling lost, questioning your purpose, or asking Allah to help you become the person He created you to be. 💭 How to use this name in du’a: “Ya Khaliq, guide me to what You created me for, help me use my abilities in ways that please You, and make my life a source of benefit for others.” 🌙 Reflection: Sometimes we compare ourselves to others and wish we were different. But Al-Khaliq created each of us with wisdom and purpose. He knows your strengths, your struggles, and the path that is best for you. Instead of focusing on who you’re not, focus on becoming the best version of who Allah created you to be. 📖 “He is Allah, the Creator, the Inventor, the Fashioner; to Him belong the best names.” (Qur’an 59:24) Post from @doseofdeen

✨ Ayah & Hadith of The Day ✨ “Indeed, Allah loves those who constantly repent and loves those who purify themselves.” Surah Al-Baqarah 2:222 The Prophet ﷺ said: “By Allah, I seek Allah’s forgiveness and repent to Him more than seventy times a day.” [Sahih al-Bukhari] We all make mistakes. No one is perfect, and every one of us falls short in one way or another. The important thing is not that we never sin, but that we keep turning back to Allah when we do. This verse is a beautiful reminder that Allah loves those who repent. No matter what you’ve done or how many times you’ve made the same mistake, don’t let Shaytan convince you that it’s too late to seek forgiveness. Allah’s mercy is greater than our sins. Even though the Prophet ﷺ was the best of creation, he regularly asked Allah for forgiveness. If he made istighfar every day, how much more do we need it? A simple “Astaghfirullah” said with sincerity can be a means of drawing closer to Allah and starting again. ✨ Post from @doseofdeen ✨

✨ Ayah & Hadith of The Day ✨ “And seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, it is difficult except for the humbly submissive [to Allah].” Surah Al-Baqarah 2:45 The Prophet ﷺ said: “The matter of the believer is amazing. All of his affairs are good for him. If something good happens, he is grateful and that is good for him. If something difficult happens, he is patient and that is good for him.” [Sahih Muslim] Life will always have its ups and downs. There will be days when things go our way and days when they do not. During both, Allah teaches us where to turn. In times of hardship, we seek His help through patience and prayer. In times of ease, we thank Him for His blessings. Patience is not about pretending everything is fine or never feeling sad. It is about continuing to trust Allah even when things are difficult. Every challenge is an opportunity to draw closer to Him, and every blessing is a chance to increase in gratitude. No matter what you are facing today, take a moment to pray and ask Allah for help. The One who created your problem is fully capable of guiding you through it. ✨ Post from @doseofdeen ✨

🌙 Islamic New Year: 1448 AH 🌙 As we enter a new Islamic year in the coming days, we welcome the month of Muharram, one of the four sacred months mentioned in the Quran. Unlike many new year celebrations, the Islamic New Year is a time to reflect, show gratitude, seek forgiveness, and renew our relationship with Allah. Muharram is a blessed month and one of the four sacred months. These months were honored as times of peace, when fighting was traditionally put aside and people could travel safely. One of the most significant days of Muharram is Ashura (the 10th of Muharram). It is the day Allah saved Prophet Musa عليه السلام and the Children of Israel from Pharaoh. The Prophet ﷺ fasted on Ashura and encouraged the Muslims to fast it, saying: “Fasting the day of Ashura, I hope that Allah will expiate thereby the sins of the previous year.” (Sahih Muslim) It is recommended to fast the 9th and 10th of Muharram, or the 10th and 11th. May Allah make this new year a year of barakah, guidance, forgiveness, and closeness to Him. Ameen. Post from @doseofdeen

🌿 99 Names of Allah & How to Use Them in Du’a 🌿 🌿 Name of Allah: Al-Mutakabbir (الْمُتَكَبِّر) 🕊️ Meaning: Al-Mutakabbir means The Supremely Great. Allah alone possesses true greatness, majesty, and perfection. Unlike people, whose pride is a flaw, Allah’s greatness is complete and belongs to Him alone. 🤲 When to call upon Him: Call upon Al-Mutakabbir when you’re struggling with arrogance, seeking humility, or reminding yourself that all blessings, talents, and successes come from Allah. 💭 How to use this name in du’a: “Ya Mutakabbir, fill my heart with humility, protect me from arrogance, and help me recognize Your greatness in all things.” 🌙 Reflection: It’s easy to become proud of our accomplishments, knowledge, or abilities. But everything we have is a gift from Allah. The name Al-Mutakabbir reminds us that true greatness belongs to Him alone. The more we recognize Allah’s greatness, the more humble we become, and the more grateful we are for the blessings He has given us. 📖 “He is Allah, other than whom there is no deity, the Sovereign, the Pure, the Source of Peace, the Granter of Security, the Overseer, the Almighty, the Compeller, the Supreme in Greatness…” (Qur’an 59:23) Post from @doseofdeen

🌿 99 Names of Allah & How to Use Them in Du’a 🌿 🌿 Name of Allah: Al-Jabbar (الْجَبَّار) 🕊️ Meaning: Al-Jabbar means The Restorer and The Compeller. Allah is the One who mends what is broken, heals wounded hearts, and has complete power over all things. Nothing happens outside of His will. 🤲 When to call upon Him: Call upon Al-Jabbar when you’re dealing with heartbreak, loss, disappointment, or any hardship that has left you feeling broken. 💭 How to use this name in du’a: “Ya Jabbar, mend what is broken in my heart, ease my hardships, and replace my pain with something better.” 🌙 Reflection: One of the most beautiful meanings of Al-Jabbar is that Allah can restore what feels impossible to fix. He can bring peace after grief, hope after despair, and strength after weakness. When life doesn’t go as planned, remember that the One who created your heart is also the One who can heal it. 📖 “He is Allah, other than whom there is no deity, the Sovereign, the Pure, the Source of Peace, the Granter of Security, the Overseer, the Almighty, the Compeller…” (Qur’an 59:23) Post from @doseofdeen

✨ Ayah & Hadith of The Day ✨ “And speak to people good words.” Surah Al-Baqarah 2:83 The Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him speak good or remain silent.” [Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim] The words we choose matter. A kind word can brighten someone’s day, strengthen a friendship, or make a difficult situation easier. On the other hand, a careless comment can hurt someone long after it is spoken. Allah commands us to speak kindly, and the Prophet ﷺ taught us that if we do not have something good to say, it is often better to stay silent. Before speaking, it is worth asking ourselves whether our words will help, encourage, or bring benefit. If not, silence may be the wiser choice. Using kind and thoughtful speech is a simple act, but it is one that can have a lasting impact on both our relationships and our deeds. ✨ Post from @doseofdeen ✨

🌿 99 Names of Allah & How to Use Them in Du’a 🌿 🌿 Name of Allah: Al-‘Aziz (الْعَزِيز) 🕊️ Meaning: Al-‘Aziz means The Almighty and The All-Powerful. Allah possesses complete strength, honor, and authority. No one can overcome Him, and no one can prevent what He wills. 🤲 When to call upon Him: Call upon Al-‘Aziz when you feel weak, defeated, discouraged, or when you’re facing challenges that seem impossible to overcome. 💭 How to use this name in du’a: “Ya ‘Aziz, strengthen me when I am weak, honor me through obedience to You, and help me overcome the challenges I face.” 🌙 Reflection: The world often measures strength through wealth, status, or power. But true strength comes from Allah alone. When you rely on Al-‘Aziz, you’re relying on the One whose power can never be challenged and whose help is never out of reach. No matter how difficult your situation may seem, it is never greater than the power of Allah. 📖 “And to Allah belongs all honor, and to His Messenger, and to the believers…” (Qur’an 63:8) Post from @doseofdeen

✨ Ayah & Hadith of The Day ✨ “And [remember] when your Lord proclaimed: ‘If you are grateful, I will surely increase you [in favor].’” Surah Ibrahim 14:7 The Prophet ﷺ said: “How wonderful is the affair of the believer! There is good for him in every matter, and this is not the case for anyone except the believer. If something pleasing happens to him, he is grateful, and that is good for him. If something harmful happens to him, he is patient, and that is good for him.” [Sahih Muslim] Gratitude is more than simply saying “Alhamdulillah.” It is recognizing Allah’s blessings, appreciating them, and using them in ways that please Him. Sometimes we focus so much on what we lack that we forget the countless blessings we already have. The believer finds goodness in every situation. During times of ease, they thank Allah. During times of difficulty, they remain patient and trust His wisdom. Both gratitude and patience bring a person closer to Allah and help them see life through the lens of faith rather than frustration. ✨ Post from @doseofdeen ✨
