| 6 | It started with a simple frustration.
Every time I met someone, we exchanged LinkedIn usernames, tried to spell names, searched through profiles, or promised to “connect later” and sometimes never did.
I wanted something simpler.
Open one link. Scan one QR code. Save the contact instantly. Exchange details both ways. Keep every connection in one place.
That’s why I built c4rd.biz.
It’s still early, and I’d love your feedback.

| 7 | Honored to be a finalist for Inspiring Journey of the Year at the LinkedIn Changemaker Awards Ethiopia 2026 today. This recognition means a lot because it reflects not only my journey, but the resilience, growth, and support that made it possible.
Grateful to everyone who has stood with me along the way. No matter the outcome today, I’m proud of how far this journey has come. | 295 |
| 8 | A year ago, I secured c4rd.biz. I’m renewing it now because I once let another domain expire, and someone later wanted $10,000 for it. 😅 I wasn’t going to make that mistake twice.
It almost became one of those side projects that never saw the light of day.
Today, I’m happy to say it’s finally here.
c4rd.biz is now live! 🎉
Create your digital card, share it in seconds, and keep the connections that matter.
I’m inviting the first users to try it. I’d genuinely love your honest feedback: | 378 |

| 10 | Hey there! Have you ever used OpenStack before? It's my first time hearing about it! | 489 |
| 11 | I'm losing my mind today. 😂 My work Mac has restarted itself twice in the last 30 minutes for "required software updates." It literally shut down while I was still typing. It feels like someone keeps interrupting you halfway through peeing. 😭 | 680 |
| 12 | You've totally sparked some nostalgia! 🤣 My very first project was building an analog clock with the three hands using Python as my first programming language. The three hands? Green, yellow, and red of course. I guess I was pretty patriotic too😜🤣 | 676 |

| 14 | We never truly know what someone is carrying.
Some are living with grief. Some are fighting silent pain. Some have enough to give, while others are hoping someone will help.
If you can, donate what you have. It may seem small to you, but it could be the reason someone gets another chance.
Because we may not be able to stop every ending, but sometimes we can save a life before it's too late.

| 15 | 🚍 Dandii is here — Addis Ababa's transit, finally on one map.
Back in 2018, I kept running into the same problem: there was no single place to answer a simple question — "Which route actually gets me there, and what does it cost?" Anbessa, Sheger, the minibus associations, the LRT — all real, all moving thousands of people every day, but scattered across memory, word of mouth, and guesswork.
I told myself I'd build the app for it one day. Today, that day arrived.
Dandii lets you:
🔎 Search any route across every Addis operator
🗺️ See the trip on the map, stop by stop
💵 Check the fare and the schedule
⭐ Save the routes you ride every day
✍️ Report a fare when it changes — riders keep the data honest, together
None of this would exist without open data. Dandii is built on the official Addis Ababa GTFS produced by World Resources Institute (WRI) Africa — the dataset that maps this whole network. I was part of the technical team that processed and analyzed the data behind that GTFS, so this launch is a way of giving back to the public.
🙏 A huge thank-you to WRI Africa for building — and keeping up to date — the transit data that makes a tool like this possible. Maintained open data is a public good, and it's the foundation Dandii stands on.
Try it, break it, tell me what's missing:

| 18 | No secrets or magic. It’s mostly sheer stubbornness.
I refused to let my circumstances define what I could achieve. Every time I reached one milestone, I set my sights on the next one. I failed more times than I can count, but I always got back up and kept moving forward.
I’ve never stopped learning or challenging myself. Every new technology, every difficult project, every rejection, and every setback taught me something that made me a better engineer and a better person.
I’ve also had people underestimate my potential. Instead of trying to prove them wrong with words, I focused on improving and letting the results speak for themselves.
So I’d advise you to stay curious. Build things. Ask questions. Be patient with yourself. Don’t let setbacks convince you to quit. Success usually isn’t one big breakthrough. It’s the result of showing up, learning, and staying consistent long after others have given up. | 1 756 |
