Much of Africa today gets water by carrying a jug on their head and walking for miles to and from a water source (which in many cases was built by a white humanitarian organization) and yet 2,000 years ago the Romans were building aqueducts miles long.
I think it's very fair to think if left to their own devices Africans will still be doing that a thousand years from now.

Are America and some third world countries really the only places where traditionalist-oriented mainline Protestantism is still holding on? Absolutely cooked. Honestly the church of Sweden would probably be better off now had it stuck to being traditionalist instead of embracing an idea of secular liberalism where God is still a background character or something that humans know better than.

| 19 | I love these old classic games, so much so that I have my Amazon Fire Stick set up to use emulators, and that's all I use it for. I've never once watched TV or movies on there, I only ever have used it for Retroarch. Definitely a good investment, it has worked very well so far for it.
I'm running a Bluetooth controller with it, in the past I've had problems with other devices where the Bluetooth controller is not quite up to the task of playing those old platformers since they're too slow or not precise enough, too much latency over the Bluetooth connection, etc but it's been flawless so far. I thought I was going to have to buy a dock that would have cost more than the device itself to hook up a wired one to it but nope | 346 |
| 20 | There's another one you should look at, it's Sonic 3 Chronicles, it basically takes three of those competition zones and builds them out into full levels. That was a few years ago, I like that one, I've actually played it and it's very solid. Again looks and plays just like a real 16 bit era Sonic game, that one was made in Unity apparently.
What's even cooler about this is that when people make these fan game versions of the old Sonic games, they can't sell those, they can only release it for free and even that's legal gray area I think. They do it purely out of love for those original iconic games. | 334 |
