12	نقاشی های قدیم ایرانی تصاویری افسانه ای و خواب گونه داشتند و هر کدام شعر یا داستانی رو به تصویر کشیده‌اند اما چیزی که بسیار پر تکرار هستند تصاویر حیواناتی با سر انسان که نه انسان بودند و نه حیوان یا موجوداتی که بال داشتند و فرشته نامیده می‌شدند حیوانات پر تکراری مثل شیر کنار خورشید که نماد سرزمین پارسی بوده ، اسب و طاووس با سر انسان . که حتی در نقوش کنده کاری شده و مجسمه‌های تخت‌جمشید هم حیواناتی با بدن و سر متفاوت زیاد دیده می‌شود. و تصاویر زنان بدون حجاب و گاهی عریان چه در زمان قبل ورود اسلام و چه بعد از اسلام ؛ که حتی بعد از اسلام تصاویر زنان عریان و در آغوش یار بیشتر هم بوده. نقاشی هایی که کمتر به آنها پرداخته می‌شود و دنیای رمزآلودشان خاموش و بی صدا مانده . #ایران #نقاشی_قدیمی #هنر #هنرایران #iran _nadia.artworks_	25

Spanning five decades, Dick Cavett’s television career has defined excellence in the interview format. He started at ABC in 1968, and also enjoyed success on PBS, USA, and CNBC. His most recent television successes were the September 2014 PBS special, Dick Cavett’s Watergate, followed April 2015 by Dick Cavett’s Vietnam. He has appeared in movies, tv specials, tv commercials, and several Broadway plays. He starred in an off-Broadway production ofHellman v. RACCOON! 🦝 NEST INTRUDERS GET A RUDE AWAKENING! 😳 \| OSCEOLA COUNTY, FL Nest: Brownie Park Bald Eagle Nest Location: Osceola County, Florida During the bald eagle off-season, a mother raccoon found the perfect place to raise her family, high above the ground in a comfortable bald eagle nest. Safe and comfortable, she successfully gave birth to and raised her cubs in the unoccupied nest. Once the cubs were old enough, the family moved out. Florida's bald eagle breeding season begins on October 1st, and before long the eagles returned to reclaim their nest. The pair got straight to work, bringing in sticks to rebuild the nest rails and adding fresh grasses and soft nesting material in preparation for eggs and eaglets. Unfortunately for the eagles, their newly renovated nest proved irresistible to the now-grown raccoon cubs, who clearly had not forgotten their cozy first home. The young raccoons began to visit regularly, checking for leftover snacks and taking advantage of the soft, comfortable nest bed for afternoon naps. All went well until one morning when the raccoons overstayed their welcome and were discovered by one of the resident eagles. The startled cubs made a very hasty retreat. Although the eagles spent weeks diligently preparing the nest, no eggs were laid at the Brownie Park nest that season. With another Florida breeding season approaching, it will be interesting to see whether the raccoon family returns to what was once their nursery high above the ground.	24

Modern Humanity and Forgetting in an Age of Endless Distraction Modernity transformed human life through its promises of freedom, prosperity, and progress. Yet alongside its achievements, it also produced a condition of perpetual restlessness. Never before have human beings been exposed to such a constant stream of images, information, entertainment, and new stimuli. What seems remarkable today quickly becomes ordinary and is soon forgotten. The modern economy is built on attention. Social media, advertising, and mass media survive by continually offering what is new, exciting, and different. As a result, people become accustomed to consuming novelty, while their capacity for sustained attention—to a book, an idea, a relationship, or a difficult question—gradually declines. This has given rise to a culture of forgetting: a condition in which news, events, suffering, and even collective memories are rapidly displaced by whatever comes next. Surrounded by an abundance of content, individuals have fewer opportunities for reflection. Rather than engaging deeply with the world, they are encouraged to move constantly across its surface. Thinkers such as Guy Debord, Zygmunt Bauman, and Herbert Marcuse anticipated many aspects of this condition. Debord argued that modern life increasingly takes the form of spectacle, where representations replace direct experience. Bauman described a world marked by instability and transience, while Marcuse warned that consumer societies create conformity disguised as freedom. Together, their critiques point to a society in which people continually seek new experiences yet struggle to find meaning. In such a world, forgetting is no longer merely a psychological limitation but a structural feature of social life. The rapid turnover of information keeps attention in motion while weakening memory and eroding the links between past, present, and future. This critique can be extended through Neil Postman, Hannah Arendt, and Hartmut Rosa, each of whom explored how modern media, memory, and social acceleration shape human experience. Against this backdrop, one of the most important forms of resistance may be a return to concentration, silence, deep reading, and historical memory. Those who spend their lives chasing ever-new attractions may ultimately discover that what has been lost is not only memory, but the self.
