Scheduled Maintenance - Saturday 5 September 2026, 9 AM UTC
Expected downtime: 30 - 45 minutes
Deribit will perform a brief scheduled maintenance to to roll out further latency improvements.
Client impact: The system will be down for around 30 - 45 minutes. Client systems will not be able to communicate with Deribit during this time. Following the downtime, there will be a 1 minute cancel-only period.
We are fully aware these windows are disruptive to clients but we do them to improve the trading experience and we are reaching the end phase of the larger Coinbase integration bringing new flow. We apologize for the short advance notice and greatly appreciate your patience and understanding.

Please be advised that the Coinbase International Exchange migration to Deribit, previously scheduled for Sept. 9, 2026, is being delayed by at least two weeks. During this time, both platforms will continue to operate as they do today.
This decision reflects our commitment to ensuring a smooth transition for all clients as we bring both platforms together into a single trading venue. We will share the revised migration date and additional details shortly.

| 3 |  🚨 Deribit to Discontinue Daily Proof of Reserves Publication
From 1 September 2026, Deribit will discontinue the daily publication of its Proof of Reserves page. The decision is driven by changes to our wallet infrastructure as part of our ongoing integration with Coinbase.
What this means for clients:
🔹Client assets remain fully segregated.
🔹As a VARA-regulated platform, Deribit remains required to maintain 1:1 reserves.
🔹Independent Proof of Reserves audits will continue annually.
🔹The discontinuation of the daily publication does not change how client assets are held or protected.
The daily publication was a voluntary transparency initiative that went beyond our regulatory requirements.

We are updating our Index Price Methodology. This update reflects changes to how the index is calculated, monitored, and safeguarded.
Under the updated methodology, the Coinbase Index will serve as the reference index for Linear Perpetual Futures that do not have a corresponding listed Deribit option. The updated methodology is available here.
Instruments that do have a listed Deribit option, including BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP, HYPE, AVAX and TRX, will continue to use the existing Deribit Index.
The change will be effective as per the following schedule, around 12pm UTC:

| 20 |  🚨 Spot Routing on Deribit: Access to Coinbase Exchange Liquidity
On 13 August 2026, Deribit began the phased rollout of selected spot pairs routing to Coinbase Exchange (CBE), starting with BNB-USDC, unlocking deeper liquidity, broader asset coverage, and improved execution quality.
🔔 Key Changes
- Additional selected spot pairs will begin routing to CBE in the coming days, following the initial rollout of BNB-USDC.
- Clients may notice changes to tick sizes, base increments, and minimum order quantities on routed markets.
- Routed pairs will follow Deribit’s applicable Fee Schedule and CBE market specifications.

This marks another step in bringing more scale, stronger market access, and a better trading experience to Deribit.
