Call me the economic prepper. Refer to me as "the poors" if you want. I've been stacking staples for a very long time. Don't forget that duct tape has a million uses.

Getting things piecemeal is better than nothing at all. Many are struggling in this economy, so do what I do. Get a little at a time. A little rice here. Some beans there. Canned chicken and tuna stack well too.

I would personally stay focused on stacking staples and water. Yes a way to cook is needed, so get that, but afterwards focus on rice and beans. Together they make a complete protein and can be stacked in food buckets. Maybe get some spices for flavor.
