Measures previously referred to the ballot include a proposal to designate drug cartels as terrorist organizations, a measure prohibiting mileage-based vehicle taxes, and a measure limiting local grocery taxes. The referrals strengthen election integrity, protect women's sports, increase educational accountability, safeguard military families, and limit government overreach, while Democrats argue some proposals could restrict voting access, affect transgender students, weaken union activities, or impact public education funding.
