India’s former finance secretary, Subash Garg, thinks India should let the threatened 25% tariff take effect.

“If there is an American demand, they will buy and let American consumers and the importers pay the tariff. Let them bear that.”

"Loss of faith": A new poll shows that Trump is losing the support of a "disenchanted" voting bloc A new study conducted by the Latino outreach firm Equis shows alarming numbers for President Donald Trump among a group of voters crucial to the Republican Party's strategy — but it doesn't necessarily mean good news for Democrats. Latino voters, who make up one of the most diverse ethnic groups in the United States, have historically been supporters of the Democratic Party and remain so. However, over the past few years, more and more Latinos have gone Republican, and Trump winning a large minority proved crucial to his popular vote plurality last year. However, Trump's high ratings among Latino voters have plummeted in recent polls, and the latest data confirms this trend. A new study, said Equis research director Caitlin Jury, shows that

Half of Latinos say Democrats care more about people like them, versus 25% who say Republicans care more, and 17% who say neither party cares more. But Biden defectors are twice as likely to say neither party cares more about people like them (38%). Seventy percent of those who voted for Trump (roughly one-quarter to one-third of U.S. Jews) believe that Israel isn't being aggressive enough, compared with nearly 68% of those who voted for Harris thinking that Israel is acting too aggressively. Of Jewish Trump voters, half believe Israel is winning the war, whereas half of Jewish Harris voters believe Israel is not winning.

“Alarmingly, the survey shows that even among American Jews – who are generally predisposed to support Israel – the country is failing to explain and justify its positions effectively,”
