A report from Rockwell and colleagues in JAMA confirms what patient data has been showing for over a year — use of ivermectin and mebendazole among cancer patients surged through 2025. Mel Gibson's appearance on Joe Rogan accelerated it further. The first clinical report shows 84% positive impact — cancers held stable or improved when the combination was added to traditional care. The National Cancer Institute is tracking this. The next step is a large prospective randomized double-blind placebo-controlled trial. The data is there. The patients can't wait.

As New World screwworms emerge in Texas and New Mexico, the evidence suggests ivermectin may be one of the most effective defenses in both animals and humans. In February 2026, the FDA granted an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for Ivomec (ivermectin) 1% injectable as an over-the-counter preventive for cattle exposed to screwworm risk — including after birth, castration, or wound detection. Effective at larval stages, but at very large sizes, the worms must be surgically removed.
